Great place to chill, have some cocktails and a semi upscale meal. The service is slow, so expect a wait.

Worst experience, the wife and I decided to take make the 1.5 hour trip up to poplar bluff to check this restaurant out since it looked pretty good from the photos. Unfortunately it was a disaster. We ordered the mussels for an app and the tasted fish and gritty, only ate like 3. My wife ordered the seared scallops, with rice and there was like 1/2 inch of oil on top, she tried one bite and about vomited. I had the burger and it was extremely salty for no reason. Just a terrible time! And $100’s wasted!

The last time I was there and ordered a spring salad with strawberries. After waiting 45 minutes they brought a salad with no strawberries because they were out, substituted dried apricots. Awful.

The food was excellent, and they had some unique items. Took over an hour to get our food on a weeknight. We were on the second level, very dark, due to many lights out. The waitress had no idea what wines they had, and they did not have a wine list. They said go down stairs and look. Love the food. Service needs work. We did have a party of 9. The week before, they were out of steak.

We waited over an hour for our food which was not good either. The carbonara came out so cold I had to be sent back. The forbidden rice was bland, the pork chop overcooked. Sesame tuna didn't have any sesame.Waitress brought out straight whiskey instead of whiskey coke. Shame, it used to be so nice.

Stopped here for dinner and was very impressed with menu choices and prices. Wife had crab cakes as an appetizer and it could have been an entree. She said they were the best she’d ever had. Everything we ordered was amazing and they make one of the best Old Fashioned I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back next time we are near Poplar Bluff.
