My favorite Mexican when I'm visiting poplar bluff

We're originally from AZ, where the Mexican food is authentic, affordable, and delicious, we tried all the other places in town and this one is BY FAR the best. Only thing that could use some improvement is the beans, they seem to be blended and too soupy, would be much better with some whole beans.

Had the enchiladas Verde, and the flavor was spot on. I've missed my CO Mexican restaurants, so it was good to find authentic dishes and flavor. Our servers were friendly and not too clingy, which I like best.
I look forward to trying more of their menu!

Pretty quite. Good food. Frendly.

We have been here twice but this last time was our last. Hate giving bad reviews but atleast we are honest. Walked in and no staff greeted us, finally a gentleman in dirty clothes and T-shirt sat us at a table. Our waiter was kind but preoccupied and we had to get other staff to help. We asked for ketchup in Spanish and the lady had no idea what ketchup was in any language. The men's bathroom was filthy with graffiti and smelled like you know what. The dining area is dirty with holes in the wall and bad paint and dirty chairs. Food wasn't that great but I didn't get sick. Seems like they are past due for a health inspection.....

We came here a few minutes ago (still here) to order lunch I ordered a lemonade no ice (they put ice in my drink) my husbands and my mom’s drink order was right. Then we ordered our food. I ordered cheese chicken and rice with veggies my mom and my husband ordered next. Both of their foods came out but mine didn’t they said I didn’t order any food. So they made my food finally and when they brought it out my mom and husband was almost done with their food and I felt like I had to hurry up and finish mine

Horrible service for the second time today! The waiters and waitresses are not very good at their job! It's like they just don't know what to do! No common sense! Had to ask for menu's and silverware and refills. Management had very poor people skills. My food was great until I found a hair in it. My kids were very unhappy with whole experience. And I even gave the waitress a good tip and she gave it back to me after I addressed the issue with poor training to the workers. They acted like I was an idiot and could care less what I had to say. I was trying to be civil. They didn't apologize. They just didn't charge me for my food that had the hair in it.....poor people skills and customer service. Several people in my church even has said it's been not good for them either.....to the MANAGER: you need to get your act together, because there is too much competition in this town for Mexican food and you'll be out of job if you can't get things in line! I have a large Family and My bill was $145! And I won't be back!

The smell of warm fresh tortillas when you walk in fills the room. If you like steak I Recommend the steak queso flameado. Good food and quick service will keep you comin back.

when there tonight they had the worst service i have ever had there they got the order wrong and very slow and never came to check on us will not be going back
