This is the best restaurant in the boot hill. If you like home cooked food it is a little pricey, but it's worth the trip.

Mary Ada's is a true treasure in the community. The food is always absolutely delicious, and the staff is so sweet and personable. The new owner, Tyler, is truly taking this amazing place to new heights, too- everyone should support him and his efforts to bring new and exciting experiences to this wonderful place!

If you are near Portageville, make sure to stop by Mary Ada's. This spot offers true Southern cooking and some of the kindest hospitality you will ever experience.
As soon as you walk in, you are welcomed with a smile and treated like an old friend. The staff go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable and cared for from start to finish.
The fried catfish is the standout. It is perfectly cooked with a crisp, golden exterior and tender, flavorful fish inside. You can taste the quality and tradition in every bite, and it is easy to understand why it has such a great reputation.
Mary Ada's is more than just a place to eat. It is a place where good food and genuine people come together to create a memorable dining experience. Whether you are a local or just passing through, this is one stop you will not want to miss.

Such a gem!
There really is a Mary Ada! Her daughter works there too. Great family business.
Food was so fresh and great tasting. I love the area. We had yummy burgers and the chicken. Fries are very good.
Just a warning to check the hours as they close a little early.
Very polite waitress

Absolutely insanely expensive. Cost me 14$ for 2 tiny chicken tenders, fries and a tablespoon of honey mustard. No bread included. Not terrible in taste- but an absolute price gouge to the utmost.Btw- even if you have a bite of another person at your table’s desert- they will charge you Full price for the buffet- so tread carefully, as nothing they offer is worth the price. For all of these things and many more- I strongly recommend one not give these absolute criminals a single dime.
Vegetarian options: Non vegetarian across the board. Perhaps their rolls aren’t cooked with animal fat- but they aren’t worth eating for even a staunch carnivore. Piss poor and overpriced food at every single level.
