So the food is amazing, the portions great and good service. The only reason I give it three stars is that it’s pricey and I was highly turned off my last visit when they added a large tip to my bill that I did not authorize.

Hands down this is the BEST Mexican food in the whole ENITIRE universe!!! The price doesn't even come close to how much they SHOULD charge!! It's such big portions that my husband, my girlfriend, and I ... We all share the same platter and still take home a doggie bag! And even tho there chips and salsa is the best I ever had we don't start eating those till we get our food! And like I said we still take some home!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ONLY THIS MEXICAN FOOD NATION WIDE!! I also have a friend who is a vegetarian so they will make her anything upon request she wanted only veggies with white cheese and a whole order at that but not only did they make it they didn't even charge that much!!! I love this place it my all around go to any day any time

Called in an order to go like I do 6 times a month, noticed last time that the proportions were very skimpy and told the guy that took my order over the phone. Didn’t ask for an extra serving, was just stating how small the proportions were from previous order. I always order white cheese sauce which is $5.43 for a very small cup. So as I picked up my order there was a $2.00 custom order charge just for asking for an appropriate portion. They also taxed the steak charge before the grand total, so they taxed it twice… the cheese sauce was so watered down that it was clear on top of the chimichanga. I paid $27.10 for a $14.48 chimichanga plus another $2 for a to go order tip thinking that the guy (Marin D) who took my order over the phone understood my concerns as a regular for years. Then after I got home and discovered how bad I got ripped off again, I called and asked for him and he played dumb and insulted my intelligence as a business owner myself. He definitely is Mexican and I told him that it’s people like me that makes his business succeed, he still continued to insult my intelligence.. bad news travels fast in a small town that supported your business., you are history, it was that bad. Good luck with trying to scre over the American people..

Heading back to St. Louis on a road trip, and we were on the lookout for a dinner spot. Stopped in on a whim, because when isn't Mexican food a good idea? (The answer is never). We were seated right away and the staff were friendly. Service was quick, and the menu had a good amount of variety. So much so that it was hard to pick what to order. We enjoyed complimentary chips and salsa while we looked over the menu and made our selections. After we ordered, it was just a short time before our food was ready. It came out piping hot, and very tasty. We didn't feel rushed to eat our food so that they could seat another couple, but they seemed decently busy, which is always a good sign. We'll certainly keep it in mind as a dining option in the future if we have another road trip that brings us to the area.

Gave this spot another go. Service was great our waiter was very attentive without being a pain. The last time eating here I felt the salsa was pretty bland and tasted like ketsup this go around it did taste somewhat better. My granddaughter had a chicken quesadilla Dos Primos which was delicious and nicely seasoned and a nice portion. I had the steak chimichanga and the flour shell was really nice but the steak didn’t have hardly any seasoning on it. Again nice good size portion. Would eat here again just to get the chicken quesadilla.
