I just moved to the area from STL and have been searching for a great local spot. I popped in for a late lunch and it was some of the best food I've EVER eaten. Everything was so fresh. I cannot wait to go back and try other things on the menu. I had the gypsy shackwich and order of fiesta fries. Only critiques would be that I'd add lettuce, pickle, tomato to the sandwich but that's just my preference; it was still amazing without. Also, I wish they were open longer...
Found this place on Google maps as we often go to Potosi but never really eat there. We ate here about 4ish weeks ago but I forgot to post a review. I have been dreaming about the salad we had ever since.... I just have been too busy with our own restaurant to make the drive there but we will soon I hope! I think it was called the fiesta salad with chicken? It was topped with corn, parm, and a sauce that was reminiscent of street corn. I loved that they did not skimp on the parmesean!...
The women working there were pleasant and professional and good Cooks. The french fries are well seasoned. Everything was made fresh. 1/3 lb hamburger in it what is a good size. Nice chunk of tomato 🍅 lettuce and Holly pickles 🥒🤤. It's right on the main road going through town. It's kind of in a low spot easily enough to pass.
