The Midways appetizers definitely are not from a frozen bag, the best onion rings and (I think they were called) cheese logs. Also, they know how to correctly cook a steak!

This is a true hidden gem. The entire family loved it! The beer cheese is to die for, and the service is amazing. These are the sweetest ladies I've ever had wait on me at any restaurant anywhere! Southern hospitality at its very best! Can't wait to return.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly and family oriented, loved looking around the shop while we waited. They had coloring sheets for the kids even. Great atmosphere ?

Heard about The Midway so decided to drop by and check them out. I tried the French Dip special and was worried at the stringy look of the meat..oh my gosh that was the most tender flavorful beef I’ve ever had. It was so good. Was told their steaks you can cut with a butter knife so will definitely go back. Then went next door to their coffee ice cream shop and tried The Mayor. Custard, espresso and Carmel. It will be worth the 30 minute drive just to get another one of those!!! Our server was great didn’t catch her name. The building and decor were really nice too

Was there Friday evening of the Homecoming with some friends, had the Ribeye, I HIGHLY recommend it. it was absolutely well worth it.

I was all alone here on a Thursday afternoon. The place is nice. The chicken sandwich was top notch. A very pleasant young lady waited on me. It's great to see folks reopening these historical buildings. If you're in the area, you should stop to eat and shop.

I wouldn’t know anything about how good or bad the food is. After ordering and waiting for what I would make a generous estimate of 15 minutes, I started a stop watch. I let the stop watch run for 20 minutes before waking out. The staff was very apologetic after showing them the watch. I believe I was forgotten after placing my order.

If you are looking for a great steak that you can cut with a butter knife, look no further! We had two different cuts of steak and they were absolutely amazing. Every bit of food we had was fabulous. Definitely worth the drive. One of the best steaks I’ve ever had!
