This is one of the worst Johnny’s Tavern's in the area. We have tried 3 different times, giving them multiple opportunities and have been disappointed each time. We would rather drive to Overland Park or Lee’s Summit. It takes forever to be seated, the tables are sticky 9 times out of 10, the floors have quite a bit of trash on them, the menu’s feel sticky and have food on them at times and the service is pretty bad. If this is how it looks on the floor, then what does the kitchen look like? I don’t even want to know. Hopefully they can do better.

Service has gotten worse everytime I visit. Tonight stood at the hostess station for a good 5 minutes before anyone said a word to us. Then once seated the floor, table, menus, condiment tray, everything was filthy. Food scraps on every surface. Napkins and trash on the floor thruoghout the dining room and everyone just kept walking by it all as if it’s normal for there to be trash everywhere. Can’t imagine how gross the kitchen must be. I won’t ever try this location again. I’ll make the drive to OP or Lee’s Summit from now on.

All of our food was cold. I asked for a side salad with red onions it was a side salad with huge green bell peppers. I was charged for the bell peppers I didn't ask for. I ordered street steak tacos. The steak was dry and tough with no flavor and cold. My husband ordered wings and fries. Wings were asked to be fried hard they weren't. We got buffalo lemon pepper and there was no buffalo. Everything was cold the fries the wings and the again steak stir fry. They did bring fresh fries out. When they took the stir fry back and brought it back it was the saltiest dish I ever had. I have never been to Johnnys tavern before. The spinach dip was the best and was good.

Good appetizers and food. But really weak drinks, even the beers were stronger. Pretty loud atmosphere, but outside might have been better if we would have known before.
Very disappointed. Went in tonight (12/4/25) around 7pm. It was not busy and there was several open tables. When we walked in we waited about 5mins before anyone greeted us or took us to a table. After we placed our order it took about 30mins to finally get it. I ordered a southwestern salad add crispy chicken. When it came out it had no chicken on it. We had to get our servers attention for everything we needed. She never came over and just checked on us. We had to go find her to get our check. It was only 2 adults and 2 kids so we didn't have huge crazy orders. This is the first time I had been in for about a year because I had a similar experience last time. I love the Johnny's in Blue Springs and never have issues at that location.

Came for a friends party. They had an entire separate space for us. Server was fast and attentive even though she was taking care of the entire party. Nice work!
Met a friend and client for lunch. It was Tuesday so I took advantage of the taco special.

Prices are okay. It's a nice atmosphere lots of TVs but the nachos are some of the worst that I've had. Plus my stomach hurt the next day. There's not even that many things on the menu to have things that don't taste good.
