Honestly Mod Pizza is probably the best pizza place in the area, especially now that Minsky’s has closed. They have the best crust and their ingredients actually taste fresh unlike some of the other places we have remaining. I have always had amazing service here, they are usually going above and beyond to make sure my order is right! I definitely recommend going here if you are wanting a good pizza place in the Raymore area!

We visited the MOD Pizza in Belton, and while the pizza itself was delicious, the service left a lot to be desired. When we walked in, there were no other customers, but two employees behind the counter—one refilling dishes and the other folding boxes. Neither of them looked up or greeted us. After standing there for a couple of minutes, I finally asked if they were even open. Without looking up, one of them said yes, and it still took about another minute before they came over to take our order.

This lack of acknowledgment soured the mood of our visit, even though the food was great. For comparison, we often visit the MOD Pizza in Lenexa and consistently receive wonderful service there. The difference in hospitality was very noticeable.

Really love the pizza and salads here. The drink options are very good too. There were 4 different options of tea/lemonade. I usually create my own pizza because of the unlimited toppings but the Mad Dog and Lucy Sunshine are my other go-to options. The create your own salads are so fresh and delicious, too.

Possibly the worst service and worst food quality I’ve ever experienced at a fast food restaurant. Just eat at home. I’d give negative stars if possible. Terrible. 6/13

I decided to try Mod Pizza again after two months. I had received a coupon in the mail. When I arrived, I was the only customer. The Young lady was talking on her Bluetooth, so I patiently waited. I told her I had a coupon, which I gave to her. She prepared my pizza, and put them in the oven. I went to pay and she forgot I had the coupon. She charged me for two instead of one. She got who I assumed was the manager, to correct it. I had told the first lady and the manager I wanted my pizza sliced in eight pieces which she forgot. When I went to look at my order she remembered. When the first young lady put my order in the oven, she went back on her phone. They use to watch your pizza through the whole process. As much as I use to love Mod Pizza, they continue now to disappoint me. What happened to the great pizzas and great customer service?

MOD Pizza in Raymore missouri, a little slice of heaven tucked into a shopping center where you can smell happiness and marinara in the air. My wife and I wandered in like two hungry nomads searching for carbs and salvation, and boy, did we find both… with a side of hypothermia.
Right when you walk in, you’re hit with that “cool indie pizza place” vibe—like if a record store and a Chipotle had a delicious little baby. The staff greeted us like pizza therapists: “Build whatever you want. No judgment here.” That’s the kind of emotional support I need.
I got the Mad Dog, because let’s be honest, if you’re not ordering something that sounds like it could also be a monster truck, are you even living? My wife went full Picasso and built her own masterpiece with confidence and pepperoni placement that screamed, “I pay attention to the details.”  Then the bougie oven. Oh, sweet baby crust, the oven. This worker, this beautiful pizza wizard, slides those pies in with the paddle. You know the one. It’s not just a pizza tool, it’s Excalibur. This man was out there like a Food Network ninja flipping, spinning, never dropping a single pizza. Give that man a cape and a raise.
We decided to eat inside. You know, have a little pizza date. Romantic, warm, gooey except for the warm part. Because inside? It was Antarctica. Not like “ooh it’s chilly” but “why is my breath visible?” I ate my pizza like I was trying to finish before I lost another toe to frostbite. I love my wife, but if she had suggested sitting outside, I would’ve built her a snow fort with my tears.  But the pizza? Oh, friends it was good. Crispy, cheesy, flavorful, and made with care. The kind of pizza that makes you believe in love, in hope, and in. stretchable pants.
So would we go back? Absolutely. We’ll just bring a jacket, gloves, and maybe a thermal sleeping bag.
