I went there today for the first time and it was a very terrible experience because we had to change our order 3 times cause they was out of majority of the items that was on the menu the servers took forever to come back to check on us then when we finally got our food it was nasty grease ain't been changed like I will never go there again they can offer us 3 free meals and I still wouldn't go. 😡

Disappointing cooking. The breakfast brought to me was amateurly prepared and seemed to be a complete lack of cooking skills, flavor, and common breakfast culture. If I ask for a biscuit, it should be a biscuit; not toasted or anything other than a plain biscuit.
And it's expensive enough that it should have quality standards. I assure anyone reading this review that you will find a better meal with a bit of a short drive to anywhere but here. I'm insulted that with such a name, you would think breakfast would be a landmark of quality. Nope.

very racist treatment for interracial married man and wife of 27 years. i wouldn't recommend this establishment for an evening of peace

Good shit

There's breakfast. There's lunch. There's desert. There's nice people. There's that really good crunchy ice in the waters. There's big proportions for reasonable prices (you aren't leaving hungry). Idk what else you could ask for :3

This place used to be an amazing kc gem. Over the last few months they just can't seem to get a single order of mine correct. I've been repeatedly disappointed. All the while, the overall quality of the food continues to decline as well. Extremely small wings and exceptionally thin pork chops have just left me wanting more from a place I once loved.

When I arrived i stood there for 3 minutes before I asked if I could be seated they assumed I was with the big party I guess because I was Black. I was told the wait would be 40 minutes so I left. I guess I have to get there early when it opens will try again

Brain Works

Waited 10 minutes to be seated, staff kept looking at us and ignoring us so we left.

I ordered a breakfast burrito online at 915, and got there at 935. Upon arrival I had to flag down a worker in the kitchen and they told me they did not have my order. I showed the email confirmation, and some how the staff magically found my order...which had not even been started yet. My order was finally ready little after 10, and was made aware then that they did not have any potatoes; I decline the French fries that were offered. After being there for over 30 minutes I did not check my order as I was late now I should have as my burrito did not have any bacon on it, bell peppers, onions, or jalapeños...cheese and eggs only; overall bad experience and an expensive mistake as I did not eat my $20 burrito. Won't be back.

First time visiting from TX while in town. Placed order online and got there about 15 minutes after placing the order. The first lady was nice and greeted us & said to have a seat and she’d check on our order as we said it was to-go & paid online. The light skinned cashier with sweat pants on came up saying “did we cash out”. it was cash only the cc machine was down per the sign. We said we paid online. She was lookin all the system when the other lady found the paper receipt and said she found it. Well light skinned still was walking all around doing other stuff , whole time the food that was on the counter was ours but we didnt know it. It was a good 15 minutes later , she says “y’all food ready” and walked off. So I politely said “I hope you have a better day , but if you dont want to do your job then do somethin else “. She said something slick and walked off. Mr Marvin you may want to speak with that young lady about her customer service . Pics of the food speak for itself . 0/10 do not recommend.

I am really not sure why this place even pulls in a crowd. We have consistently had problems with this restaurant. Today their card machine is down. Food is overpriced. Food quality below average; get a chef that knows how to cook please. My omelet was poorly done. We also waited 45 minutes to get our food and the waitress was slow as well.

My experience today was awful. The service was poor, slow, and unorganized.

They seemed to be operating with inexperienced staff... as none of them knew what they were doing.

It was just two of us dining, and the restaurant was not overly busy. Including us there were maybe 15 other patrons.

My family members' potatoes were burnt and my order was served to me without everything it was supposed to have.

In addition to all that, when it came to the bill, they brought another persons bill to me 2 different times and the young lady at the cash register was not friendly and kind of rude.

I've eaten here before and it has never been this bad!

It seems like they've employed a whole new staff, and the people they've chose are horrible and very inexperienced.

I used to really enjoy this place, but I will not return.

We loved it. Thank you for taking care of us. We were in KC for a funeral. Both mornings in KC we feasted at your restaurant.

Cash only. Aside from that everything is remarkable. It is worth running out of cash for it. I drink decaf coffee and this was fantastic decaf. The fried potatoes were special and the half order of biscuits and gravy was all I could hold. That was delicious too. This is the "to go" place for breakfast.

We eat here all the time and it’s one of our favorite places to eat brunch! Love it! But yesterday my daughter, my sis, and I were visiting for breakfast we were blessed with a new waitress who was very kind and generous customer service, but the other ladies who were training her not so much. I ordered Belgium waffle, scrambled eggs with cheese, turkey bacon plus two extra and potatoes, my food came on a dirty plate my eggs didn’t have cheese on it but cheese was on my plate, hair was in all of our orders our waitress took pictures. They over charged us for food we didn’t order then gave me a $6 discount and took the old receipt and wouldn’t give it back to me. I ask for the owner she told me that she doesn’t know when the owner is coming in. I don’t know anymore if I want to return here or not. PC

This place had me waiting an hour for my food that cost me $80. Placed my order online and said be there at 10:55am, I arrive at 10:57am and the say my goods not ready. That’s fine I can wait a few minutes, but a few turns into an hour. I literally fell asleep at the bar waiting. Then I find out that people who came in after me placed their orders and received food before me. Make it worse they finally bring my food and they forget some of it😡. This is not how you run a business, I get being short staffed but when people order food after me and receive it before me! That doesn’t work for me. Haven’t tried the food yet but service definitely needs work.
