Carlitos is a local Mexican / TexMex restaurant. Tucked away in the shopping Plaza at 63rd and Woodson roads in Raytown, Mo. Carlitos has that welcome neighbor type vibe. \n\nYou can stop in and order at the counter for take out or enjoy your meal at one of the many tables in the dining area. The food is simple, inexpensive and prepared right where you can see it. I like that the quality is always consistent and the staff is always friendly. Andrew the owner is frequently working...

Yesterday I wanted something different. I saw pork tenderloin on the menu so that's what I ordered along with fries. Omgosh! It was wonderful. It's good to know they have good Mexican food but also awesome "other" food.

Carlitos tacos are the best tacos around. Wish they would open one in Independence. The one in Gladstone is not as tasty as the ones in Raytown…don’t know what they do different
