my mom and i got donuts here earlier today. i got a blueberry donut (they are amazing, best donut ever) and i got to see my friend thomas here. we played some games after i finished my donut and had a lot of fun. everything is perfect here and the donuts are amazing!

Doughboy's Donuts makes phenomenal donuts, with everything from classice cake amd glazed, to specialty flavors. They offer an impressive selection of full breakfast items. The atmosphere is wholesome, family service. Staff are kind. I will be back to get a banana creme filled long john.

For over 10 years, my parents and I have had a special tradition of getting donuts in KC. But today, that tradition was soured. I completely understand that places can run out of donuts—it happens. But what I don’t understand is why my order was given away to another customer who was behind me in line. And when I pointed it out, I was just told, “Don’t worry, I didn’t charge you,” as if that made it okay.
The way orders are handled should be simple: serve the next person in line and complete their order before moving on. It’s not just about the donuts; it’s about fairness, respect, and the experience. I’m so upset that a tradition we’ve cherished for so long was ruined by something that could have been easily avoided. 😢😢😢😢

I've lived in the area for almost 5 years now and today was my first time trying Doughboy's. 🫣 The kids behind the counter were so kind and extremely patient with me taking forever to figure out what to pick for my family. The cherry iced donut took me back to my childhood within the first bite! We will definitely be repeat customers!

Though this shop is under new ownership it continues to produce the best doughnuts in Kansas City. Their pricing has stayed fairly stable and they have the best apple fritters anywhere.
