The tacos were on point, and the rice reminded me of growing up in KCK around incredible food joints. The service was great and very friendly. And the price was a bonus, very reasonable. I would definitely recommend stopping by for a meal.

The food has really gone downhill over the years. My fiancé ordered nachos and they DID NOT use queso cheese. They had the audacity to serve the dish with shredded mozzarella cheese. We will not be going back. There are several other el maguey restaurants in the city that have better food.

LOVE El Maguey (formerly Mexico Lindo) as our #1 go-to restaurant for 25+ years. Flavors are YUMMY across any of the many menu items. Favorite? Burrito Banderas: Super delicious with beef tips, chicken, and pork topped with cheese dip, red and green sauce. It's so huge, it can be shared! Service is consistently exceptional with friendly and attentive staff. It's a casual place to hang out and enjoy a relaxing meal. (P.S. Review applicable to ALL locations.)

Foods okay. Slightly overpriced. Salsa has no flavor outside of tomato sauce. Service is terrible. I’ve been here 7 times now. Busy or slow the servers are ok where to be found. I’ve currently been sitting here for 20 minutes waving at every staff member I see for my check but no one will acknowledge you. Literally 5 other tables in the place rn and I can’t get service from the 4 staff memebers running the floor. Absolutely ridiculous
