I miss the old Gingers owners and staff. I ate carry out this am, and im really disappointed, I ordered western omelet and hashbrowns(which were raw) and im not convinced the ham was fresh ham. It was powdery and peppers were tiny and slimy. Needless to say...it was a 2 bites and waste.
Yuck!

One of the very best breakfast joints around! The food is excellent with reasonable prices and large portions.

Ginger’s Restaurant is a Raytown favorite for homestyle comfort, serving generous portions of classic American dishes made from scratch and served with a smile.

The biscuits and gravy were cold and far too thick. The toast come out as just buttered bread. The server seen we didn’t eat and not one time did she ask if everything was okay. We will never go back.

The Rueben sandwich was good but the $7.00 burrito was not that good.

Ate here after finding out I could order my hashbrowns with toppings. The food was amazing. I was able to order exactly what I wanted and it was delicious. I've found that at other restaurants, once you get your food, your server becomes a ghost. Not here. Our server was attentive. She came back to give us refills and checked on us regularly. Not only that, but other staff came by regularly to refill our drinks. Food was way worth the price. I will become a regular.

We always get the breakfast chicken skillet fajitas and they never disappoint. They brought back their empanadas and gorditas. Don’t sleep on the extras. Good customer service with a warm smile. The cook is great and always makes us feel welcome. The small mix between American and Hispanic food is great. Don’t miss out.
