I ordered from the blue Springs location, literally the worst southern meal I have ever had collard greens tasted like they dumped a container of old bay on them, covered them in oil and simmered them. The mac & cheese was worse than a box of kraft and the fish was unseasoned batter with no meat. I ate this meal in hour ago and I have been vomiting for the last 20 minutes straight. 10 out of 10 do not recommend I will never spend a penny there again, and they should have their food permit taken away. My dog would not even touch. Do not order from them.

Hadn't had Lutfi's in a couple of years and thought I'd try it again. I got the fried shrimp and catfish dinner with green beans and fries. The shrimp were cooked to perfection, had the perfect bite and not a lot of breading. The fish of course isn't real catfish, but swai or basa. It was tender on the inside and has a slightly crispy breading. The green beans had a nice flavor and slight spiciness. And the fries were hot and fresh. My SO got the Blackened catfish and he's not good On describing flavors, he just eats! He said everything was good and fresh. We went on a Friday night.

Had not visited Lufti's in a long while, but I enjoyed it! Ordered catfish and spaghetti with fries. The spaghetti wasn't too bad. Fish was cooked just right, not too salty.
It's been a year and a half since I ate there and then I told myself I wouldn't eat there again but since this much time has passed maybe they got better. WRONG! It's gotten worse. The catfish strips now look like shoe strings. I also got mushrooms that were way beyond burnt up the only thing that was really edible was the green beans. I can not understand how this place remains open,really baffles me. By the way I'm talking about the raytown store

Today, I went to Lutfi's on 350 hywy and order 1/2 pound of whitey fish strips, but when I receive my order they whitey nuggets. I was very disappointed. Because, before I had order, asked the waitress if they would be strips. And she assured me they would. They have water down condiments also. Besides that, I have been there and order whitey fish before and received strips. This was my second attempt, and this will be my last. Some restaurants are cutting portion but still charging the same prices.$$$ I do know the difference between a strip and a nugget ? My catfish order were strips. Satisfied with that order.
