DONT EVER EAT HERE,I'm not saying this from bad experience, I'm saying it because I'm friends with a gut that worked there and told me in disgusting detail exactly how gross they are there. Now I cringe when I see people going in and out of that place. Shanghai express is the only place to go if you want good Chinese food.

The worst Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life! Dry chicken, dry egg rolls, dry lo mein and etc. The food tasted like it had freezer burn and was made in hurry. I would never recommend eating here.

We went here unaware of that and opted to go somewhere else instead.***I glanced at the rating, figured we could give this place a go since we were on that side of the city, and we ended up leaving without eating anything. Post Covid-19 this restaurant offers only carry out orders and does not offer any dine in service. We opted to go somewhere else. This was rough from the curb to back door.

The food is usually good but today I pulled a long black hair from my throat when eating my combination lo main. She didn't want to work with me and was adamant that it couldn't been their hair. She wanted me to bring food back before she would replace only the family had already ate theirs and i had little left in my plate. The lady at the front is very rude all of the time. $42 lost. Everyone make mistakes. All shr had to do was remake my order. I plan on following up with the health department.

Edit a couple of years later:Food lacks flavor, many of the amazing buffet options are no longer available. No longer my go to Chinese restaurant. It’s just different since covid.The food here is pretty good, always seems to be fresh on more occasions than not. They are constantly replenishing the food at the buffett. There's plenty of veggie options for those who are vegan. Be aware there is a language barrier with the cooks and staff who replinsh the Buffett. But the ladies in the front speak English. All in all this is a good choice for Chinese take out.
