Had been wanting birria tacos since Mexico last year. Saw it on the truck sign. Tried them and OMG!!!!! muey riiiiccccooooo!!!! I inhaled them in my the car. Went back at 5:30 and got another order, plus got some tacos el pastor for my husband. The daughter helped me the first time, then my second time back, the wife helped me. Both times, dad was on the grill. Quick service each time. I cannot express to you how delicious those tacos were. The meat so tender (and lots of it) and he grilled the outer tortilla to perfection! The food is just amazing, the customer service top tier and the kitchen was spotless! I will go there often! (Tried going just now 5pm on Saturday) but, they closed at 4. That's my fault, I should of checked their hours! Now, my craving won't go away til Tuesday when they open again. Lesson learned lol! You can tell, the love of food is real for this family and the gratitude is appreciated. Go see them, you will not be disappointed! P.s. ... they do have many other options on the menu. Quesadillas, burritos, nachos..... drink options, salsas, rice, beans etc.... they share a lot with the pawn shop, but, easy in easy out! The even have a couple picnic tables set up if you decide you want to eat outside. See y'all Tuesday for sure!

Hands down best authentic Mexican style street tacos in Kansas City in my book, and I've been to many of the awesome places on Southwest- which don't get me wrong are also fantastic but Tacos El Pariente is at the top of my list. Highly recommend. (Keep in mind this is a mobile operation not a sit down restaurant, but rest assured you will not be disappointed)
