Food was Excellent, Denver Omlet, Home Fries, Biscuits and Gravy, Perfect Bacon as Ordered, (Crisped to Perfection), Don't even get me started about the Pancakes, WOW, Thick, Fluffy, with a crisp outer layer, Large Portions, and we didn't leave much on the plates, Don't Miss This place! Oh Yeah, Veteran's Discount, Nice Surprise! Second Visit for Lunch, Less Busy, Same Attentive Staff, Still Perfectly Crisp Bacon and VERY Tasty Chicken Fried Steak, FIVE MORE STARS!

We enjoyed our meal. Portions are good size so, my husband and I always share. It’s fun reading the menu. It was our second time there, we took some friends. Look for the fun things around the room. The name on the window will make you smile. We plan on going back to try something else on the menu. Again, the food is good.

Great food. And they honor veterans. You have to get the midtown feast, you won't regret it. Unless you just like to complain about everything. But if you're a man, then i HIGHLY recommend it.

We love to find small, hole-in-the-wall out of the way places! Mid-Town Cafe did not disappointment. Walking in the door, we were greeted with a smile and a hello by several people. We had a group of six with a small child and we were accommodated excellently. They were kind enough to find seating for all of us together even though the small establishment was a bustling place. During our dining experience, the owner spoke and joked with our party on multiple occasions, which our family loves when we feel like one of the locals. These are our favorite places to patronize. Each of our menu items were outstanding! The Sunday special was juicy, cooked-to-perfection fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy and corn! All of our fare was down home Southern cooking! If you want a friendly atmosphere and some excellent dishes, I would highly recommend you go off the beaten path and try Mid-Town Cafe!

This “off the beaten path” cafe was just what we were looking for! Nice little drive from Branson, and the homemade sausage gravy was delicious along with the hashbrowns- made to perfection. Coffee and orange juice were a plus. If it’s a brisk morning don’t forget about the hot chocolate. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the country fried steak.

When you first walk in Jeff greets you, he's absolutely hilarious. The waitress is the sweetest person ever and the FOOD... I would be doing a disservice to this place, leaving anything less than 5 stars. Delicious food, extremely friendly atmosphere and you feel like you're part of the family. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!
