Yesterday I learned that the Diamon Head restaurant is under new ownership. I went in for carry out and met the new owners who were running operations. They're phenomenally courteous, and helpful. They have also completely renovated the place, and it looks great. The buffet has been re-opened , and has a ton of variety. Lastly, the new owners have added a discount for seniors, military and public servants. If you haven't already, I'd highly recommend checking them out (again).

I have missed Diamond Head since the went "drive-thru only" after covid. I was really sad when I heard they sold. But.... It is open, the buffet is open too, and its great!!! Pay before you sit... a little odd but the remodel is nice and the food was great. The new people seem to be eager to serve ya and we had a great dinner. A few new items on the buffet, all good! I recommend and will return for sure.

Diamond head buffet is reopened with new owners. Ate lunch 12-18-24 it was clean, bright, hot food, good selection, including sushi. Very happy they have reopened.

Lookout Republic you have a new buffet in town. Very competitive prices. The buffet on Monday was $11 and some change. Great variety great quality. Cashew chicken on the buffet who can resist that. They also have desserts and ice cream cups and sushi. Definitely go check him out they are behind Walgreens in Republic. Buffet is closed on Tuesday. Very friendly staff. They have both booth and table seating.
Parking: There are plenty of parking spots located very close to the restaurant.
