Been wanting to try this place for awhile now and was sorely disappointed! Ordered just a jumbo cheese burger and okra and the best thing was the okra! The patty is clearly frozen and tasted like plastic!
Very politely asked for a refund, was not being a Karen, I was very nice about it. When asked why I explained it tasted like plastic and I would just like a refund. The owner, I’m assuming anyway, comes out and accuses me that it MUST be my tastebuds because he hasn’t had a single complaint in 15 years. Mind you I wasn’t trying to make a scene but he chose to make one in a full restaurant, including grabbing some girl from the kitchen yelling at the top of his lungs that I didn’t like the burger so she comes out and screams that she just ate one and it was fine. I calmly said ok? I still want a refund. The “owner” finally gave me my money back by slamming it on the counter.
I am flabbergasted on how this place has stayed open for this long!
People of Republic stop coming here and go get a better burger literally anywhere else!

Super good food. Only complaint I have were the fries were a little under done and under salted for my taste but that's probably just me. The burger, onion rings and mini tacos were fire! Such a nice person working the window today too. Very friendly and sweet and personal. Will definitely go back :) thank you!

Our family of 7 was traveling home from vacationing in Texas to Michigan and randomly stopped in Republic for the night. We were tired, hungry and ready to relax. Our search for dinner led us To E's Inn. We arrived just before closing time and they were extremely friendly and accommodating. We were not made to feel rushed at all and were welcomed completely. While the food is not fancy it 100% hit the spot and triggered some memories for both my husband and I of places that are no longer there in our own hometowns. We left full, happy and grateful to have had the opportunity to stop here and recharge for a moment. Thanks so much to the staff for all that you did to make sure we felt welcome.

We had high hopes for this place since it wasn't a chain. We ended up leaving the food. It definitely was just frozen patties, fries and onion rings similar to what one would buy at Sam's club. Not gonna say it was horrible, just not what we were expecting from a small family owned place.
