On several occasions I have gotten to go orders for my family and I and the fish has either been burnt or undercooked with French fries that could break a window and the hush puppies were raw on the inside. Today I decided to ask them in advance about the quality of the to go orders. I was assured they would address the issue. When I arrived home with the orders the catfish was very tiny pieces and gooey on the inside,on each order the French fries were burnt and hard and mushy gooey hush puppies. That more than told me they don't like my hard earned money that I spend there so I will not be back

This is a very small restaurant with 6 tables. The waitress was friendly and the food was great. The fish was clean with good flavor, the chicken was freshly cooked and had good flavor. My smoked wings were hot and Smokey. I would recommend trying it if in the area. I will be back when visiting my daughter at college.

Best fried chicken and coleslaw. Food was Very clean with just the right amount of seasoning. Cajun fish was clean and good taste - very favorable but not spicy.
Service is down to earth and prompt.

Such a cute and quaint little restaurant! On our way from Arkansas to Nebraska, we decided to have ourselves a local dining experience, we stopped by the boat house! Got the fried mushrooms- nice sized, great batter! We couldn't decide so we shared the catfish-great flavor, cooked perfectly, and delicious batter! Catfish came with hushpuppies which were tasty! The pork tenderloin-crispy, flavorful, great portion! The Susie Qs-fresh cut (in front of you!) spiral curly fries! The baked beans were yummy too!!
The decor was cute and the staff was so sweet!
Definitely looking forward to going again and also going to the original location on the lake as we were told it's even bigger!!

The fried shrimp tasted great! No chicken salad. But plenty of chicken choices. It is a small place and was very cold!

Wonderful food. Amazing service. Stopped in on my way through from joplin to kc. Will definitely stop again when I'm this way again.
The food was amazing. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Amazing!!! I had the steak sandwich/ribeye sandwich (not sure what they called it)
Boyfriend had the fried livers with beans and Cole slaw..... Hands down the best meal we've hand across multiple states lately.
I cant wait to go back!! Only 30 mins from me!
