Great freshly roasted coffee. Staff was friendly, happy to answer any questions regarding grinding and brewing methods. I now get my coffee beans here!

10/10 coffee shop for those desiring to study or work on a labtop. It has very nice ambiance with lots of natural lights. There are lots of seatings at two levels as well as patio seatings for nice sunny days.

Thank god the coffee was great but could work on acknowledging customers for to go orders. My Oder was behind the counter and I waited patiently for someone to greet me and did not. Customer service is a must working with the public.

This place is a hidden gem! We’ve eaten here and had coffee here several times and each time it almost gets better! They have a small menu, with some seasonal items, but each thing I’ve had is absolutely delicious! The way they perfectly blend simple flavors, both in their food and their latte flavors, is nothing short of magical. Today I had the almond croissant and it is the perfect combination of buttery, nutty, flaky, and decadent; I got my 12 year old the pumpkin snickerdoodle and he actually said “mmm so soft and crispy with just the right amount of cinnamon.” Oh and the autumn flight was everything I hoped it would be! Stout, sweet, seasoned, perfectly balanced.
If you’re ever near Clayton/Richmond Heights do not miss your opportunity to try Coma Coffee!

Been here a few times. Great cold brew and awesome spot to catch up with friends. But I've noticed a smell by the coffee bar, like dirty mop water. Really hope this gets fixed-- not the most appetizing.
Just visited coms coffee after meeting there for an interview. The food looked good so I figured I’d try it out. I ordered eggs over easy and my meal took a while to come out. I was passed by the waitress a few times who never said your food is coming. When my food arrived to me the eggs were over hard. I mentioned this to the waitress who never apologized but said we can make you more. I was really hungry so I took a bite of the potatoes. When my new food was brought over I noticed they only recooked the eggs. At other restaurants they apologize remake your whole meal and often comp your food. The waitress proceeded to ignore me the rest of my time there never asking to make sure everything was ok. I definitely over tipped. Not impressed.

I normally love Coma and have always had a great experience there! However, today when we arrived at 8 AM (an hour after the advertised opening time), we went to the counter to order, and the person behind the counter just stared at me for a minute before letting me know that they weren’t serving food yet. I asked when food service would begin, and again, it was an awkward exchange where he didn’t seem to know. I don’t place any blame on the cashier, but if food isn’t served until a certain time after opening, that should be clearly stated on the website!
Excellent coffee flight!
Nutella Brownies on point...the guy with the very chipped nail polish not so much

Tried Coma for the first time yesterday . Staff member behind register was very cordial but the atmosphere as a whole was kinda cold and clinical , imo . The coffee was ok . Not sure what brewing technique they use for pour over but I didn’t get much in the way of the notes listed on roast . I may try again some other time .
