My family and I came in today when it looked as if management was there and things went fine but then there was a shift change, management left. Today 8/13/2025 at 4:25 the employees working completely ignored us when we tried asking for a box so we could leave and they were in the kitchen SMOKING POT!!! I had my children in there with me so we rushed out as my kids don’t need to be in a restaurant where employees are smoking pot, talking crap about people and being rude. This is a severe health hazard!

I cater here for our business fairly frequently and it’s normally always a solid experience. This last go, there was a manager there that rubbed me the wrong way. I see a lot of comments with similar stories about the same person, too. Their website was down, so I called to order 10 sandwiches. She was confrontational and condescending on the phone, dismissive in person, and was openly talking trash about me to her coworker while I was paying the bill. Then she burnt my lunch date’s sandwich and served it to her anyways. Not once did either of us do anything to deserve to be treated in such a way and it was truly embarrassing.

All I asked for my food to be wrapped secured for a door dash order and they didn't, looked like my food been tampered with. If a person request a service so simple should have and could have been done then after spending over $70 the manager says sorry and hung up on me. Very unprofessional and poor service her day is coming where she receives the same treatment if not worse. Treat people the way you want to be treated

We ordered the Large Jamaican listing No Onions, light lettuce and light Mayo. Of course there was an entire onion, a head of lettuce and the amount of mayo made my chest hurt. We first shared this sandwich coming home from St. Augustine, and the four or five other times we ordered the Jamaican from this location it was wonderful. Definitely poor performance tonight.

Firehouse subs always has tasty sub options for everyone. We ordered the medium Engineer (with wheat, no onions, no Mayo, and spicy Cajun Mayo modifiers) and a large Turkey, Bacon, Ranch subs without modifications. We loved both. Bread and sub ingredients were fresh and extremely satisfying. We never receive bad service or messed up orders. Bonus? Firehouse supports first responders and loves military...active, retired, or veterans!

I have never been to a firehouse sub before until today. And I hate to say I will never be back. The food was OK although the bread was hard and flavorless. It seemed like a healthier option than Subway which is why i thought i would try it. What really got to me was the person who took my order. He acted put out that I did not know the routine of ordering (because it was my first time being there.) when I went to pay, there were three tip options presented to me. I chose the one in the middle. When he saw which one I chose, he rolled his eyes and immediately got even more of an attitude than before he saw my tip. Even though there were no orders before me, he and the other staff sat around talking and made me wait 15 minutes for my order. The sense of entitlement that this man had when he was not nice or polite or helpful to begin with, and I still left him a decent tip, and then with his behavior because he did not feel I left him enough money... There is no reason why I would ever come back to this store. I realize that it's hard to find decent help nowadays so I'm not blaming the store itself. But when you treat people like dirt for leaving you a decent tip, there's no incentive to leave any tip in the future. But if you go to someplace like Subway at least you can see them make your food and you know that they didn't do anything to it. It's sad that places like this allow their employees to behave this way.

Decent sandwich, the soda machine stinks. The kind with 1,000 options but is always out of stuff (like diet coke today). Guessing it hasn't been cleaned in a while as the head was spitting out syrup in many directions requiring a napkin after each fill.

Shoutout To my Real Afrikans out there

My Smoked Turkey Breast subs were missing multiple condiments including the extra cheese I paid for. The bottom bread was soggy & the turkey was wet like it was sitting in water. These establishments need to READ THEIR TICKETS. Bad experience

I ordered a steak and cheese sub. The sandwich was ice cold like it was premade and sat in a cooler. This was my first and last visit to this location. I wouldn’t recommend anyone order pick up. Go inside and order because they obviously can’t be trusted to do things correctly. Very disappointing. I received an email from corporate that I’d receive a call from the manager of this location in a few days and no one has called all week. I don’t expect to hear from anyone, from the looks of the one star reviews this manager is okay with employees half assing their job. There are better locations save yourself the headache and go to one of those instead. They should have shut this one down and not the one on Hampton.
