I didn’t catch his name, but a man behind the bar did me a huge favor. I am an Amazon Delivery worker and I was nearby, didn’t know anywhere else to fill my flask with cold water. Went inside and asked and he filled it up for me with ice cold water on a very hot day. Will forever be thankful.
We have driven by too many times since we moved to the area.Tonight, after arguing about what to cook for dinner in the highway traffic, we decided to stop here and give it a try.Pitmaster Dave was so kind and awesome. First time here for Fish Fry Friday and I gotta say, the food was awesome! The Cod was crunchy on the outside and flakey tender inside, the slaw was super flavorful and creamy with a nice crunch and the green beans were seasoned just right. My wife and mom in law loved the Mac & cheese (I don't eat pasta) and mom really, really LOVED the catfish citing how tender they were cooked and how much she liked the cornmeal breading to give it a nice texture.
