We stayed at Camp Long Creek and we’re hoping this would be a decent place to grab coffee and breakfast for the day. We were wrong. They were out of coffee by 8:30 every morning with little effort to get more since they don’t actually have a coffee pot to make any. I would make other plans for breakfast/coffee. Everything seems premade and just warmed for serving.

My first time Glamping and Big Cedar does it right. I was in unit 37 which I highly recommend as its in a quite area compared to other units but convenient to everything. The unit itself was very cool, we had all the comfort of a hotel room but were in a tent which we were able to keep the sides open and have a beautiful view of the lake and wildlife. Great water pressure in the shower, heat and AC when needed and a TV just in case I wanted to watch some sports. The deck had spectacular views of the lake. A few small issues, the Canteen which is the only food location at Long Creek was either closed or was out of stock on most items when we went for breakfast. Check out Table Rock Coffee up the road for beverages and a small selection of pastries. The best breakfast we had (great pancakes and biscuits) was at the Log Cabin Inn off resort about 10 minutes away. Also if you are a light sleeper, the birds and other animals make a crazy amount of noise at sunrise. On demand shuttles were quick and efficient and all other dining, golf and activities were excellent.

This was our first glamping experience. The tent was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, bed extremely comfortable and big. Despite it being hot outside (upper 80s) the AC inside was just able to keep up with the temperature, keeping temp inside at 70-71. Not sure how it would do when the temperatures outside are in 100s. The water had a strong flow and the bathroom was spacious. Toilet room is separate and big as well. Despite there being myriads of bugs outside, the netting did a very good job keeping them outside. We did not experience any mosquitoes or spiders inside of the tent. There is a refrigerator inside to cool your items, and there are plenty of towels for a family of four. The staff was very friendly. Checking in and checking out was a breeze. Big Cedar introduced an Uber-like shuttle service. It makes it very simple and fast to go anywhere, including from Long Creek to Big Cedar. There is also a fantastic infinity pool overlooking Table Rock lake. The pool was surrounded by colorful flowers, plentiful, chairs, and lots of towels. They were never more than 20 people using the pool and experience was very calm and relaxing. Glamping tents are located right next to the pool, which makes it very easy to go back-and-forth in case you forget an item. From food options, there is a small canteen that serves simple foods, such as burgers, hotdogs, chicken sandwiches. We also booked a fishing trip out of Table Rock marina so we were able to walk outside of our tent and walk 30 seconds to our departure point. It was extremely convenient for an expedition that started at 7 AM. One thing to keep in mind is that this is the middle of the woods so at night time you will hear all kinds of animal stomping, rustling crawling, and screeching right next to you. There are no doors and no solid walls on the tent. So all animal noises are very pronounced at night. If you’re a light sleeper, or get unnerved easily, keep this in mind. There are also lots of bugs right outside of the tent, so expect to see spiders, lizards, and even some water bugs. Provided you keep the zippers closed at all times, you should see no issues with him crawling in.

We stayed in the camping hut and it was perfect! Very cute with everything you could need. Housekeeping comes in to make the bed etc daily. Grounds are clean and everyone goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect. Make sure to use the shuttle! Parking at the different locations can be tricky and the shuttle is free.

It was nice and quiet. And the space was really quaint. Everything was clean and ready for us and we appreciated being able to check in early. The folks at the desk we extremely helpful. Check in and check out was seamless.

This was a great get away for our family of four and 2 dogs. We booked again! Love the ease of the shuttle and all of the amenities of Big Cedar. Fun mountain was great! Bowling was excellent! All of the holiday activities were spectacular. Well done! We will be back.

The cabin was so cute but there was no storage for clothes. We had to live out of our suitcases. The real issue was the sheets were polyester. I don't expect a $400 per night place would have such horrible, static building, gross feeling, uncomfortable sheets. Please, PLEASE dress the bed in cotton. Great for dogs and kids.

Beyond expectations! Definitely a GLAMPING experience! Went during the mid part of the week and pretty much had the entire place to ourselves. And despite colder evening temperatures, the tent was very cozy and comfortable!

Wonderful Experiences and views throughout the Big Cedar experience! Our Camp Long Creek cabin was adorable. Our only disappointment was that when I called to book the 3day visit, I explained that we were 65 yrs. old, 75yrs. old and 85 years old, so steps were difficult. And, we were told that there would not be steps. And, there were steps from the parking lot down to the cabins and a couple of steps up to the cabin. Also, that the couch turned into a double bed and would be suitable for seniors. However, the couch was basically right on the floor and certainly not meant for sleeping for anyone, much less seniors?. I questioned the logistics for senior living and was assured that it would be fine. ??? While the young lady in customer service could not have been more sweet or friendly, she was not connecting the dots as to what the needs of older folks would be and perhaps a review with the team would make a difference. The rest of the Big Cedar experience and activities were a delightful 10! Thank you!

We really enjoyed ourselves, this was our first time at Camp Long Creek, the place is so beautiful, so much to see and do. We rented a boat right there at the Marina and enjoyed the lake, the wildlife etc... We will be back to enjoy the Ozarks again.

We did not expect a tin hut. For $300 a night, this did not meet our expectations. Wanted to go home before our bags hit the floor. The enclosed bed was hard to get in and out of. There was no space to walk around the bed. What? Who does that. The pictures did not portray the smallness of the space.

Repeat visitors. Amazing work. From the moment we arrived we were treated well. Communication was amazing. We chose to try to “glamp” and it was so fun for our little family. It was air conditioned and in the evening it was comfortable. We will be back for years to come!

Very cool experience especially since our dog is 13 and he got to spend vacation with us. Everyone was super awesome. Only complaint we had the beds and pillows were very uncomfortable and our air conditioning quit one night in the hut

Everything about Big Cedar Lodge is first class. Period! The staff are incredible and the overall experience was amazing. Golf at Paynes Valley one of the best experiences we have ever had. Dining was excellent at all restaurants. Staff are amazingly customer oriented and helpful. Already rebooked for next year to bring the entire family

Expensive for what you get- and the food was terrible. Seemed like it was just thrown in a microwave and served
