My wife and I ate here today around noon. My first part of the review is about our server, Courtney. She was absolutely fantastic. Easily one of the best servers I have ever had the pleasure of being served. My wife, who is a head chef by trade, also said the same. She is extremely friendly, and very attentive and helpful. I think being that this restaurant is one of the places within the Big Cedar property, having a server like her is invaluable. I hope they will do whatever it takes to retain talent such as herself.Next, the food. I had the Chipotle queso and chips as well as the cup of chili. Both were amazing. Some of the best queso I have ever had. The chili is also one of the top 3 best I've ever had in a restaurant. My wife had the Bison burger and she said it was very good. And, they cooked it to medium rare, just like she ordered. Most places you tell them medium rare and oray it comes out medium at most but they nailed it here. I did ask for a side of Salsa and I recommend avoiding that. It tasted off, not sure if tomatoes had gone bad or what.Overall, excellent food and service. You won't be disappointed coming here even if driving out of the way to get here.

I’m giving it a 4 because our server didn’t elaborate that the salads were considered entree salads at $14 a pop. He should’ve clarified that, because we were under the impression we ordered smaller side salads, and the kids meal was also $14 for 2 small tenders and fries. So I guess I’m giving it less stars because of how expensive it was. Our bill was over $200. With that said, the food was very very delicious. Although it was expensive, I would go back. It was that good. And next time I won’t be ordering a $14 side salad. Haha. Also, prime rib, EXCELLENT

Eating at Johnny Morris's property's has become an expensive problematic situation. Waited an hour with reservations...I was ok with that. (Devils pool) Being seated at a lone table by the front door... very weird. Lots of empty space in the middle. Fireplace behind us not on and it was extremely cold in there. Ate with my coat on. And no ambianace. The seats are as hard as a rock. Buzzards downstairs is much more comfortable. Thanksgiving at Dogwood with overcooked dry prime rib. No more available. No offer of something else or a credit. Osage Christmas buffet...out of oysters early. Buffet looked like a tornado had hit it. Food all over the floor and table itself. Very expensive and tacky looking. Silver lining-The outside property is amazing looking. Trout fish was really good at Devils. Holly, our server was great. Several of us waiting in that hour commiserate with each other. So, flip off a coin. You may get really good atmosphere and food. Or....
