We had a fantastic evening. Jake was both attentive and entertaining. The food was delicious and we had a great time.My only negative feedback was for the Hostesses. My friends approached them for help and they didn’t acknowledge them until one of them finally said “excuse me”. One of them finally looked up. At which point my friend spotted me at our table and they just walked away and joined me.

The service at this restaurant is spectacular. We had it before we asked for it! The food was good but not great for the price points. You’re paying for the view. Loved the 21 ingredient spinach artichoke dip. That was on point!

Really impressed with the friendly, attentive staff! Our server, Ms H was extremely personable and knowledgeable about the offerings. Every aspect of our dinner celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary was perfect!!! The drive from Tulsa was so worth it!

This was our first time at Big Cedar and Osage restaurant. The ambience, food, and drinks can not be beat! Our filets were so tender you could cut them with a fork. Our waiter Jacob went above and beyond to make our experience top notch. We had the loveliest time and can’t wait to return!

I was not impressed by the food choices given the amazing location and service. I felt it could have had a better menu. They do offer bread service which we did not know when we ordered the appetizer so they should do a better job of bringing out the bread before app and/or advising. Everything is separate which I was okay with, but they didn’t really offer variety for the kids like exchanges and/ or different items. The sides were not amazing so I got a salad as a side, which was full cost. The food was good ? the view was amazing. We sat right at sunset and watched the sun fully go down which was worth the price. The sundae was horrible the cookie was strange and the kids hated it for such an expense.Kid-friendliness: Kids will need to be behaved but dress attire is casual. It is quite so my kids had to use what we call library voices. I overdressed both my kids for this restaurant which was unnecessary.

We didn't even know Cedar Lake Lodge, owned by Pro Bass existed!! So glad we found it on our cross country road trip--it's a retirement thing!

Our dining experience at the Osage restaurant was in a word, perfection. Saturday my fiance surprised me with reservations just in time to watch the sunset for our engagement. The atmosphere was relaxed and we arrived just in time to see the bagpipe performance, my fiance is Irish so he especially enjoyed that. The best part of our experience was our waiter, Nicki, who was absolutely wonderful! From making great food and drink suggestions, to the phenomenal service we received throughout the night, she's what made our special night absolutely perfect. My fiance has been a bartender since he could legally drink and has worked in pubs all over the world, so he can be very particular. Halfway through ordering we were both literally bragging about our server and how on point her service was. Throughout the evening we never had the chance to pour our wine because the moment we were ready for more, she magically appeared to do it for us. We were especially fortunate to get reservations on a night where there were fireworks, and as we got up to watch the show she offered to box up our food for us. When we got back to our seats our table had been tidied with our napkins folded and a dessert menu. Since we fully indulged in the main course, we couldn't fit one more bite, but she offered to send us home with a desert to go...how do you say no to that?? Like everything else she recommended, her dessert recommendation was downright delicious. I'm pretty sure it lasted about 2.5 seconds after the first bite, and I'm not even big on sweets. From beginning to end, Nicki gave us an exceptional experience, and made our special night even more than we could have hoped for. We will definitely be back!

This place is beautiful and the waiter was very good considering some in our party of 12 were young children, but VERY overpriced. I bought the $80 ribeye. The flavor was mediocre and it was a bit chewy.

From the moment we walked in, everything was perfect. We were an hour early for our reservation, however, they were more than accommodating and found a table for us.First take in:The atmosphere was absolutely stunning. Very warm, welcoming, and comfortable. The table was set beautifully and the staff were very kind. Our server was Chelsea, and from the beginning to the end, she was fantastic. She gave us wonderful advice on the food, and we gladly ordered almost everything she recommended. The food:The complimentary bread and butter arrived and was perfect. Freshly baked bread, and whipped butter. A wholesome start to this wonderful meal.We ordered the spinach dip to start. It was amazing! The bread was fresh, and the spinach dip was hot! No time was wasted from the chefs magical hands to the arrival of it at our table. We then ordered the “off the menu” 42 ounce beef tomahawk steak, with the mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts as our sides.EVERYTHING WAS INCREDIBLE!!The steak was cooked perfectly! The meat was incredibly juicy, tender, and seasoned to perfection! The sides were also flawless! We had absolutely no complaints about any part of our experience at this restaurant.Which leads me to believe that any and all bad reviews of this location, are nothing but hypercritical people looking for things to complain about.

My husband and I ventured up to Big Cedar for a long weekend. We were using this as a much needed get away after a stressful holidays dealing with challenges with are aging parents. We ended up visiting the Osage twice. The night we arrived we went to Top of the Rock for dinner and to explore a little bit. It was a weeknight ..very quiet, service was excellent, absolutely loved the atmosphere and views and are food was very good...even though we ordered lighter fare as we didn't want a huge meal after traveling so far. We return back to the Osage on the weekend. While we found the food and atmosphere still very good despite the crowd, our service was horrible. Our reservations were for 6:30 ...and we didn't leave until almost 9pm. This was not because my husband and I took our time an ate a ridiculously leisurely meal. It all started when we started to make some inquires...At the Big Cedar Lodge we were presented with an opportunity to try the 3 course meal menu at the Osage. We asked the waiter about it and while he gave us an explanation he rolled his eyes when we asked to see the menu as he really couldn't tell us what exactly was on it ...it took him 10 minutes to bring the menus. My husband and I were both ready to ask the manager to move us...however if FINALLY return and decided to ride it out...big mistake. The rest of the night was very similar to this, whether it was to get our bread basket, a refill of ice tea or even just to check in. At one point my husband asked the waiter a questions as he was walking by and the waiter just gave him a quick 'yeah' ...didn't look at him, didn't even pause...just kept walking. The last straw for me was when he offered to bring me a second glass of wine...and then a little bit later we ordered dessert ....the dessert was served and eaten before I ever got my wine...which I would have canceled if I could either find our waiter or get his attention. I didn't want to waste the wine...so we sat a little longer for me to very quick consume the wine. I understand all the staff was busy, however even if he had occasionally dropped by to say 'I'll have your wine shortly" or "Hey I'm having a hard time locating those menus, but I'm working on getting them for you" would have been fine, but instead we were made to feel like it was an absolute burden for him to be waiting on us. People who came in this particular waiters sections after us were waited on and served and finished way before we were...for the amount of money we spent and the upscale feel ...I was very disappointed in the service on our second visit. I'm hoping this was a 'one off' event.
