We had breakfast here several mornings during our vacation. We tried the cinnamon roll, the breakfast burrito, the blueberry muffin, and the quiche and all were great! The only thing we didn’t like was the biscuits and gravy (if you’re from the South these are not grandmas biscuits and gravy) we found them severely lacking and just off overall. The chocolate chip cookie is to die for when heated up. It was always great to sit outside and overall the atmosphere is very charming.

Super cute coffee and breakfast shop located at Big Cedar. Great iced lavender lattes.

What a cute beautiful cottage/cafe! The aesthetic was there and felt so cozy! We ordered the large cold brew with French vanilla syrup (.75 for syrup - Torani which is shocking), everything bagel with cream cheese and the breakfast burrito. A small little thing of cream cheese for a large bagel. Food was very average and everything was overpriced for what you get. The large coffee is a grande or smaller at Starbucks. Good coffee just crazy price for the size. What was also interesting, their number system for people’s orders is very different, I’m not sure how the runners can get it right. Our number was 44 and then the people behind us were also 44. I felt like I kept hearing 44 as the only number…not sure if it was just the day we came or what. It’s good for a quick breakfast but there is better out there. Docking points for quality of food and portion sizes. I thought being at Big Cedar would have been high quality…

Genuinely the worst. Over priced, slow, rude, and to top it off, bad food. The workers were beyond lazy and rude. I'd avoid like the plague, unless you like wasting your time and money.
Destiny was the woman who helped us and she was quite rude.

Beautiful location and great decor! The drinks were incorrect. I asked if they served chai tea and she said yes, then gave us chai lattes (absolutely not the same thing...) the Acai bowl was good! Destiny, the cashier, was rude to my family and did not explain anything about where to pick up the food or where to get the coffee from, just asked what we wanted and then asked if we wanted a receipt, no other conversation or confirmation. They were closing the cafe 45 minutes prior to closing time and very much making sure we knew it by closing the register in front of us and not coming to talk to us when we were waiting for our food at the counter after 25 mins. We felt like we were inconveniencing them and really just ruining their day by purchasing from her place of work. Tshego was nice. Definitely won't be back.

Destiny has zero customer service skills and a horrible attitude. The only thing worse than paying $38 bucks for a grilled cheese, water and a coffee is getting bad service and an attitude from the staff while paying it.

My wife ordered a hot latte. I went to pick it up, and they handed me an iced one. I told them it was supposed to be hot. The barista nodded like she understood. Instead of making a fresh drink, she took the iced coffee, ice cubes and all, and poured it straight into the steaming pitcher! Then she shoved the steam wand in, and it immediately turned into chaos. Steam billowed, ice cubes cracked while I stared in disbelief. It looked less like making a latte and more like she was trying to save 44.5 seconds to make a new hot latte.
I just stood there watching this iced latte get tortured into becoming a hot one. Finally, I leaned in and said, “Can you just make a new one?” She stopped mid-steam and looked at me like I had just ruined her masterpiece!! Meanwhile, my wife’s hot latte was turning into a lukewarm swamp of confusion and got dumped out. She proceeded to make a new latte that was horrible tasting and I’m wishing I gave the “iced latte turned hot” a chance now.

Always a must stop at Big Cedar. It’s way too busy during breakfast time usually so we come here for the desserts!

Quaint eatery with plenty of custard options. Seating was abundant, atmosphere was fantastic from the patio with a scenic overlook of the water to the quick service of the staff.

Great coffee (Carmel macchiato, hot and iced mocha) for me and my teen and my husband enjoyed his BBQ pork sandwich with jalapeno chips and pickle spear. Pleasant employees and nice atmosphere. Nice views of the river and greenery around.

The custard was super hard, but Delicious! My spoon broke, and because toppings literally are just placed on top and not mixed in, the toppings flew everywhere when my spoon broke.
Again, still good so I'm rating this place a 5.
A single scoop was a pretty large portion
Super charming atmosphere.

Stopped by at 8:30 am on a Wednesday and waited in line around 5 minutes. Ordered the Early Bird (was delicious) and a breakfast burrito (also delicious.) Atmosphere was great inside and out, but really enjoyed sitting outside in the back overlooking the water!
