We stopped in at the Truman Cafe for a quick snack. I asked the sweet lady at the counter if they had Diet Dr Pepper and lamented the fact that it’s hard to find. She said she knew where some was and proceeded to bring me 3 ice cold cans. Talk about going above and beyond - she made my weekend with her kind gesture (and the Diet Dr Pepper went great with the delicious chocolate peanut butter brownie, yum!)

I came here for breakfast before our long car ride home. They do have options, but I agree about the coffee. I was hoping for a latte after several days of not having one and it did fall flat. The food was okay and it cost 54.00 for us three to eat. There is no service it is like call your name number out service. Kinda high for breakfast when room service was the same expense…Kid-friendliness: Great ? environment for kids!

The food is mostly sandwiches and snacks with very professional staff. This is all housed in a cabin used by President Truman as a getaway cabin for lake access.

This is a cute little place to grab a quick bite with a beautiful view of the water. The food is tasty. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. I am allergic to some fruit and they offered me an alternative which I was super appreciative of! Downside for me was that the coffee wasn't strong enough and although I got a macchiato, I wish it wasn't so milk strong. Overall great place and I would order here again.

Great place for breakfast. Their croissant sandwich was delicious, as were the seasonal chias. The biscuits and gravy were okay, could be better. Would definitely return.

Good breakfast burrito, but needs some kick like jalapeños! There are great options for breakfast, which is when I was there. Friendly staff as well. Will definitely be back!
