Today is Saturday 3/18/23. I tried to visit around 530pm, and this restaurant is permanently closed and the building is for sale. The Google account owner should update this info. I drove from Preston, MO to try this place - which is no easy task. The saddest part is that there is a billboard on hwy 7 that is in really good condition - like it was just updated.
My wife and I went to the Blue Cat to watch a football game last Sunday. We were greeted by patrons at the bar as we arrived. We felt very welcomed by the regulars. The one employee/bartender did a great job and the pizza was great. Upon departure many patrons told us goodbye. It was our second or third time there, but not our last.
Best restaurant on the lake. Easily, child's play. No competition. Fish in a barrel. It's good dude.
owner named marty byrde is pretty cool, he helps me launder, i mean do my laundry…
I was just in there to pick someone up it has the feel of a nice place. I was in there at 11am. had a beer while I waited .not long .will go back and check it out .

Went here in advice of where we were staying for our vacation. Had to watch my Chiefs. G was an awesome waitress!!!
This was a fun and friendly crowd. The server, G, was funny and very efficient. She shared her recent personal experiences and it made us feel even more welcome! Drinks were a great pour and the food was amazing! Give it a try!
Great place to stop for a beer and burger. Cool vibe and G is super nice!
Parking: Plenty of parking.

Went on a Friday night and it was busy, but we sat right down. Took 10 minutes to get waited on and probably another 10 to get our first round of drinks. It is not a huge place either. We ordered an appetizer, which was good, but it took over an hour to get to us. Our meal was probably another 20 minutes after that. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and corn. The chicken was very over cooked and tasted like rubber. The mashed potatoes and corn were adequate. I should’ve ordered a burger and not tried a homestyle meal at a hole in the wall so I will take part of the blame.
First time going to the Blue Cat. It was easy to access off one of the lake roads so we didn't have to drive to Laurie or Camdenton. Great waitress and the food deserves a repeat performance.
The place was almost empty and the food was pretty good. There was a heavy smell of mold when we entered
Walked in was ok, sat down ordered our food and drinks. Ok then it took 30 minutes to get our appetizer.. no good. Then we took a drink of our tea it tasted old and rotten. Ok got something else to drink. Then and hour and 20 mins we sat there before we got our food. Then it was cold. Then the lady wanted to aurge with us. And make excuses after excuses. So we walked out. I do not recommend this place to go eat at. Never again. Shame on them.
Super fun place to hang out in lake of the Ozarks! Happy hour, food, corn hole and karaoke
