We recently had breakfast and were totally delighted with the service, food, and atmosphere. Arthur was our host and waiter and although he was busy, he stopped numerous times to make sure everything was ok. We are looking forward to enjoying their great food in the near future.
This is by far the prettiest restaurant in the area.

People of Branson and surrounding areas, do yourself a favor and make the short trip to Cedar Restaurant in Rockaway Beach. Their menu is so unique. I had the brisket, which was superb. Very tender and great flavor. I chose the mixed rice (black and white rice) as a side - hands down the best rice I have ever had. The Greek salad was fresh and full of flavor.
If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Branson and are looking for something new and delicious (EXCELLENT service included) please try Cedar Restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

HIDDEN GEM ALERT!!
My husband and I are both excellent cooks, so we don’t eat out very often for fear of disappointment. This restaurant absolutely hit the spot!
Food was excellent, steaming hot when it hit the table, seasoned well and very FRESH tasting. The iced Chai Latte is delicious paired with the triple chocolate cake!
The service was outstanding. Extremely attentive and friendly. Menu prices can’t be beat for the quality!
We will ABSOLUTELY be back.

This is perhaps the most overlooked restaurant in the county. I particularly enjoy breakfast, looking out at the lake, right from my seat. I get two eggs, two pieces of toast, two pieces of bacon, and sausage gravy - with a hot black coffee. The environment and service is too notch. I will be back.

The Lemon Pie is to die for!!!! My gosh! The red velvet cake was good also. My husband got a burger & the cedar special secret sauce was yummy. I had the chicken Alfredo & it was delicious. We had a cheese platter to share for an appetizer. Wasn't anything special I personally wouldn't order that again. But everything else we had was great.

They did a great job with the atmosphere here. Food is OK, definitely glad the pie was free today. The apple pie looks great in the case, but turned out it has no apples in it. It looks and tasted like the filling is cinnamon applesauce.
Totally impressed with this place! We have lived down the road from this restaurant and had no idea it existed. So glad we found it. We will be going back often. We ordered the brisket and the Philly cheesesteak both were amazing piping, hot and flavorful. Even their chicken strip and fries for the kids Were amazing and way above expectations:) My son got the catfish and said it was the best he’d ever had from any restaurant ever:) We went for my husband‘s birthday and they brought him the most amazing tasting cheesecake we have ever had anywhere. Staff were extremely friendly and the atmosphere beautiful! A true hidden gem in Rockaway Beach !!!

Great food, great service and great atmosphere! My husband and I had the chicken fajitas and our son had the chicken sandwich with mashed potatoes. After eating there today, we can't wait to go back! All of the staff were very nice! Definitely will be recommending to friends and family!!

At first it seems like a nice dining restaurant until the big screen tvs start blaring with football. I had to ask to please turn off the volume so I could hear my lunch companion. Our server was a nice man but couldn't even offer me water. She got the chicken crepe which was really yummy ($8) but didn't even come with a lettuce leaf. I got the tomato basil soup and loaded fries without the bacon. The 'soup' ($5) was more like pudding and I took half home to think out. The tomato basis flavor was very basil. The fries I sent back twice so don't even get me going on them. They were like fries at MacDonalds and about the size of 2 small ones and because I asked for them to be a little crisp they came almost like crunchy burned sticks ($5). Total waste of $14. If I had gotten the crepe like my friend I would have given a totally different review. I'm sure you've guessed that I am never going back there. (I read all the reviews and discovered that the people who had a good food experience were more likely to have had dinner, and the reviews where Cedar staff commented were only the really good reviews. Apparently if you had a problem, they don't want to acknowledge you which is a bad sign because we need to learn from mistakes and get better. So no 'we're sorry you didn't have a good experience...thanks for letting us know' for any of you two stars people. And the people who had fajitas and brisket, etc. could not have been there for lunch because I wanted something but it was only a dinner item and I wanted fajitas but they only have flour tortillas (no corn) which I can't eat.

I’m going to say, this is the best kept secret in Taney County! It needs to be exposed and supported! I had the Lamb Kabobs! To die for! I did not eat the desserts, but next time, I’m cheating! Tuesday’s is free pie day, and it was apple! Good food, Eric was our fantastic waiter, because I can’t pronounce his whole name, they will put Rockaway Beach back on the restaurant map!!
