Very cool cedar interior!
Catfish was very tasty, fries were very hit and the coleslaw was crisp.

Bill Kichen, the former chef-owner of Branson Center Stage is the culinary artist behind this establishment. He made his bona fides in the day by being Ann Margaret's personal chef.

The dining room is bright and pleasant. The wait staff is well trained, informed and attentive.

My lady and I had the Prime Rib that is a regular Saturday special. It was tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned.

The Cedar restaurant is a little off the beaten path in Rockaway Beach, but well worth the drive, (great Ozark scenery).
Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful meal and service at Cedar Restaurant while staying in Taneycomo. We took our boat over and had dinner. My salmon and baked potato was excellent and our server was so kind and attentive. Hoping to get over for breakfast soon!

I really hate having to give these types of reviews because I really want to see locally owned restaurants succeed.

That being said, be prepared for a restaurant that's nicely decorated, good atmosphere with TERRIBLE SERVICE. The staff is very nice, but from the time we sat down to the time we received our food was OVER ONE HOUR. There was a group of about 10 and a table of 4 ahead of us - that's it. We both ordered the double cheeseburger, we were not asked how we would like it cooked so we didn't ask, figuring it was similar to many restaurants in the area that cooks their hamburgers well done as a standard. In the photos you will see that my burger, with visibly thinner patties were cooked well done while my husband's was cooked medium rare. For the price point, the food was not exceptional and was certainly not worth the wait, honestly, I could have made lunch at home in less time. The staff never refilled our drinks. We were offered free dessert, but we declined. If you come here to fellowship after church before you eat, you're in the right place as you'll have plenty of time; if you're famished, you should go somewhere else because you'll probably starve to death before your food is served to you. When we were ready for the to go box and our ticket, we pushed the call button SEVERAL times but we waited over 15 minutes before going and asking for a box and our ticket. It would take A LOT for me to come back here.

Second time eating here today 8-17-25 and definitely didn't disappoint I had the catfish and my wife had the brisket plate both were absolutely delicious. Absolutely worth the money and the desserts we got to go were literally to die for, chocolate cherry cake and strawberry shortcake cake with blueberries on top. Everything about this place is very nice highly recommended.

Without a doubt the worst service I have ever experienced in my life and there were only 3 occupied tables. I usually give a restaurant two chances but this was so bad I'm not sure I can bring myself to go back.

This place is awesome! The pricing and menu options were lovely- and Megan was funny and so sweet. The lattes were a pleasant surprise, with alternative milk options for those who would like something other than whole milk. 5/5!

This is a must visit eatery if you are visiting Branson or the surrounding area. My husband and I stayed the weekend in a cottage walking distance from the Cedar Restaurant. The food options were upscale with diverse options and everything we ordered was extremely flavorful. We plan to have coffee and crepes for an afternoon treat. There is inside and outside seating depending on the atmosphere you prefer. Our server Meagan was a fabulous addition to our experience. I rate the Cedar Restaurant a 10/10 and plan to dine-in again soon.

Ordered online and they stated they never received our order even though we paid online. We showed them the transaction and it’s a service they provide online through the website to pay. Lady was being very rude stating there was no manager there and they couldn’t do anything about it. We are business owners as well and understand mistakes can happen, but instead of fixing the problem. (Which will eventually happen again) they chose to ignore it. Would just like to clarify when you purchase online from DoorDash it shows up as California address due to it being an online purchase from a third party merchant. I would also like to clarify I’ve have this account for 5 plus years. I just have never left a bad review on a business. When someone continuously calls you a liar and doesn’t help figure out how to help you get your money back it’s a different situation. We ended up going to Pizza Cellar which is our normal spot we have never had issues with.
