The food was great and the planning process with the company was straightforward and easy. However, the servers who showed up on the day of the wedding were less than friendly. When I asked a question, I was met with a curt, abrupt response that felt dismissive, especially during a moment when I really needed some clarity. I understand they were busy, but the attitude left a mark. Despite that, the buffet was well executed, and they handled setup and cleanup as expected. If the staff had matched the quality of the food and behind-the-scenes service, this would have been a 5-star review.

I've had Catering Creation's dinners multiples times while working at weddings. Their pulled pork and brisket are my favorites, it's moist and flavored just right. I've also had the chance to eat their Chinese dinners and their holiday dinners which are fantastic. I always look forward to working where they are serving because it's so very good. If you're thinking of hiring a caterer, definitely call them, you'll be glad!

0 STARS!HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE--My wedding reception was completely ruined because of this catering company's lack of preparation ahead of time. I had to skip first dances and change speeches, games, etc because all of these things were supposed to be happening after dinner.... but dinner was taking FOREVER to be served (took over an hour for all of our guests to be served their dinner meals for 170ish people with 5 catering servers) and we had a handful of couples that came to say bye to us because they had to leave (older guests and couples with babysitters)...... BEFORE THEY EVEN GOT A CHANCE TO EAT DINNER!!-- When concerns were addressed with the catering staff and the owner of the company after the fact, we only received suggestions of how us, as their customers, could have done better to help them out.... for example, we were told that our guest place cards should have been color coded to make it easier for their staff to recognize meal choices.... but we were never asked by the catering company to do that prior to our event.-- We were also told after the event that the catering company was not familiar with the event space and that they had tried to get ahold of the owner of the event space several times with no response.... but this was never communicated to me until 2 days before my wedding (and I was the one that called the caterer about something else... they didn't even contact me specifically in regards to this at all!!) in which I attempted to get the venue owner in contact with the catering company, but that was out of my control... so I got as much information that I could gather including a picture of the space for them as soon as I could.-- The actual food that myself and my guests received was literally cold. When this was addressed with the catering staff and the owner of the company (multiple attempts made during the actual event with no improvements and again after the event)...... again, we as the customers, were told that we didn't provide them with a timeline for when food was to be served, who was in charge of coordinating my wedding, and that our guests were saying that they were supposed to have a different meal than what was brought out to them. The catering staff said our guests requesting other food choices delayed all the others guests food as the catering staff had to go back and get different plates for what the guests asked and this is why it was cold..... but not one of the catering staff came to notify myself or my family that this problem was happening and no one asked us for a timeline or any other specific information.-- To top it off, the owner of the company took it upon himself to look at my guest list and personally asked a couple that he said he knew had hired their catering company in the past for their opinion on the food and the service..... but said that he couldn't tell us who he asked. Why the owner asked these unknown guests of mine about their opinion instead of the people paying for the food is just baffling. And the owner said that these unnamed guests said everything was great of course.--This catering company overall just really dropped the ball on the communication aspect and continued to bring up that they had a new catering coordinator come into position 4 weeks before my wedding so they were still in the middle of transitioning and getting up to speed from the prior coordinator. My wedding should not suffer at the cost of their lack of support for their new staff members and in this case.... it did... with the only apology received from the owner being "Well I'm sorry you feel that way". As a customer I do not know all of the information you need as a catering company and it is your job to ask the customer all the necessary information needed to smoothly run the event you were hired for.--And the owner specifically said to my family "I know for a fact that the bride and grooms food was not cold" .... however how could you know for a fact that it wasn't cold if you weren't actually present at the venue? Hired Catering Creations for a 25 person party. The food and service was excellent. Everyone at the event loved the selections of Rosemary Pork Loin, roasted potatoes and oriental crunchy slaw. This is not cafeteria tasting food. It’s restaurant quality and delicious. They provide everything you need including sauces and utensils. Excellent price, outstanding service and a flexible menu. Plan to use them again for our next party.
