We were looking for a little dessert as we stopped for the night from our travels. We came across A Slice of Pie. The shop is very cute. The pie is amazing, and the owner is even better! We chatted with the him for a bit. He was friendly and shared the shop's history. If you are looking for a well made dessert, I highly recommend this place. We will be back.
Oh my goodness… where do I start? I purchased two pieces of pie yesterday at Food Truck Friday in Jefferson City, MO and just now tasted the banana cream pie. That is the most delicious pie ever, you give my mom a run for her money with that pie crust! Also, I got the turtle cheesecake (forgive me if that’s not the correct name) and I am too full from eating half of the banana cream pie to even dig into the turtle cheesecake. I am so, so excited to try it later this evening!...
We were recommended by some friends. The pie was fantastic! They don’t just have dessert though. The menu showed many other pie variations pot pies and quiche dishes. Our server was the only one in the shop and she HUSTLED! She did amazing with so many people coming in at the same time!!!
