The food is good and generous, but I've been to better steak houses. This is more affordable to the average person.

Very slow service. Sat almost for an hour before we got drink refills . Then we got our entrees . We had to remind them we hadn't gotten our salads yet. Baked potato and sweet potatoe was served without butter sour, cream, and brown sugar and butter. At one point we asked another server to find our waitress. Kids meal hamburger is way to big for a 6 year old. Never coming here again. I will go to st Roberts instead. Old Handicap spots are not properly marked.

Nor a good experience wanted a good date night after working for the state and serving our veterans manager was not good at her job our waitress was new but went to talk to friends at a table behind us with personal conversations manager didn't address it instead came all rude like asking what the problem was like it was our fault not pleased with first time there will not be going back ever again and im one if its good I will tip 100 dollars
This was our first time at Colton’s Steak House & Grill. My husband and I weren’t impressed with the food at all. We’re from Wisconsin where Texas Roadhouse is popular and it seemed like Colton’s was trying to mimic Texas Roadhouse. From the peanuts, rolls, and other menu items there were so many similarities. I however, prefer Texas Roadhouse’s food.
We went to dinner tonight, which is a Friday night. We were seated right away. We were supplied with a half bucket of shelled, salted, peanuts. Our waitress came over to our table right away to get our drink order and she brought them back right away. She asked if we would like an appetizer, we declined and said that we were ready to order. I asked our waitress if they could substitute the chicken with beef or pork on the chipotle chicken nachos, I am allergic to chicken. The waitress informed me that they could not.
My husband ordered the sirloin & ribs combo with loaded smashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. He said that the fully loaded mashed potatoes were good. The macaroni and cheese was baked, had just the right crisp on the cheese, and had good flavor. He said that the sirloin was very small and didn’t have any flavor. He said it didn’t have any seasoning at all, not even salt and pepper. He also said that the ribs, although they had good smoky flavor, had too much fat and gristle on them.
I ordered the cheese fries appetizer. There was a good portion of fries that had bacon, cheese, and chives on them. They were served with ranch dressing. The fries were really salty, but they were cooked perfectly, crunchy and soft. They didn’t put much bacon, cheese, and chives on the fries at all though. There should be more toppings on the fries. The menu stated that the cheese fries came with spicy ranch dressing. There was a ranch wasn’t spicy at all.
The food was okay but we probably wouldn’t eat there again. It may have been an off night for the kitchen crew, but we were not impressed.

My friend and I always sit in the bar area and the bartender always waits on us and she is excellent. My steak is always medium rare and her salmon is always just like she loves it

The KC strip I ordered medium rare was almost well done and very tough. Upon my complaint I received another steak which was cooked properly cooked, however it was tough. My oppinion: buy a better quality of meat!

I ordered food online for a quick pick up at 6:09. I ordered two appetizers, mozzerella sticks, and potato skins. That is it. I got confirmation that it will be ready at 622. I did not receive my food until 7pm. It took a just shy of an hour to get two appetizers to go. Then when I opened my boxes (2 minutes into driving down the road) my potato skins were hard, tough and stale. The mozzerella sticks were cold and had no cheese pull, no crunch, nothing. Just a cold cheese stick. The pick up waitress seemed overwhelmed, possibly new. She did remember my name after I told her, but that was the only good thing that came out of today’s meal. Super disappointed as I won’t be able to eat again til tomorrow evening.. my total was $25 for food I could not eat or enjoy.

Even though there were several tables and Boots open it took a while before someone seated us. we were seated next to the bar the bartender ended up being our waiter, later we found out he was one of the managers also. nearly 40 minutes to get our food the wife steak was way overdone it was hard and had to be sent back. it nearly took 20 minutes to get the next steak back and it was overdone just like the first one. I had to stop eating my food to wait for her and now my food is cold. both baked potatoes were dried out like they had been setting for quite some time. the rolls they brought us was hard and barely warm and wouldn't melt butter. So there was this lady sitting at the bar next to us alone. later a young gentleman came in alone and sat in the booth behind us. after a while the lady got up and approached him and asked him if he needed some company, he must have agreed because she sat down with him. after a while of talking which sounded like they were talking business she got up and returned to the bar. not sure what was going on but I'm sure it wasn't appropriate for this place. we will never and I mean never go to this Colton's or any other Colton's ever again.

Okish food, overpriced with really small portions and the seafood is just frozen microwaved food.

Ordered the loaded chicken. Tasted like fish. My friend ordered potato skins that arrived burnt and dried out, like they'd reheated the skins from the day before.
Would have mentioned it to my server if she seemed like she gave a crap .. but she didn't, so I didn't bother. The only two staff members that seemed to care about the Customers were the Hostess gal and the gentleman with silver hair that was sweeping the floors.
Not impressed at all with this dining experience ... will likely not be back for another meal. I can spend that money elsewhere for a guaranteed good dining experience.

It can be very slow but the food is good. The Salmon was cooked to order, not dry. The ribs can be served “dry” with bbqsauce on the side, very nice. Buckets of peanuts in the shell, fresh.
