I miss the old Kyoto. This is self-service on paper plates, no beer or wine, and a much more limited menu. So... it's o.k. but no longer on the short list of daily go to restaurants. Good news: they are NEVER busy as they have few customers. Also now down a dead end street with no signage from the road. Perhaps why no one is there. You have to have GPS or you will never find it.

We are so happy to have Kyoto back. The concept of Kyoto 2.0 where you order your food at counter and then they bring it to you is a great idea. The staff is very friendly and always smiling.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly and laid back atmosphere.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access
Expected being seated and waited on. Approximate eight minute wait but a not so friendly hostess. Placed our order then set down. It was a shared single order of kung Pao chicken.Didn't time wait for food but it was brought to us in a single container and just set down on table. Had to go and ask for another plate and waitress/hostess didn't seem to understand we'd like another plate to split food . Chicken was very dry, like no sauce, and fried rice was mushy. I'll probably try again in several months just to see if any improvement. Quite frankly China King in St. James has them beat all to heck.
