Parking: The location of this restaurant is interesting. It is behind a lube shop and up a very steep drive, which you can access only if you are going south on US 63. There is another way in, a narrow driveway on Kingshighway, but it is unmarked. You have to know it's there.

I enjoy the food here a lot, but every visit they manage to mess something up. Once I went there and they were busy and forgot my mac and cheese I paid extra for, but I figured I’d come back and let them know the next time because they were backed up out the door. When I come back and tell someone, a lady at the counter with piercings, she seems very disinterested and said she didn’t know if they could get that for me and would talk to her manager (she didn’t.) Though recently I ordered through the app and made modifications to the food, no tomato’s and I swapped the cheese out. When I got my food at home, the cheese wasn’t on there (I paid extra) and there were tomatoes on everything. Luckily I’m not allergic, but it is still very bothersome. I love it here, but I wish they’d try a bit harder.

I ordered my food on the app. I picked it up at the restaurant. One of the people In my group ordered the 12' roast beef with au jus sauce and ended up with food poisoning!!! Also I had to drive back because they were missing soups and a sandwich. I actually never had a problem with McAlister's! They actually have good service and good food. But on my order they were slacking! The restaurant wasn't as busy. But I'm more concerned on the food handling because someone in my group had food poisoning. I have zero choice but to put McAlister's on the do not order list. I'm really disappointed! I actually like having good food. But the food poisoning is concerning.
