What a lovely little breakfast spot we just discovered! The food was fresh and delicious. Lisa was our server, and she was fantastic! She was attentive, friendly, and nice! We really enjoyed our food and the whole restaurant. I highly recommend this place! Yummy :)

WOW! What a wonderful surprise!We had pancakes, sausages, bacon, eggs and the most amazing cinna-packed cinnamon roll I have had EVER!Great spot. Wonderful place to visit! Right off the highway!

So I just called up thir and for a remake and a girl Manger keep hanging up on me and she was really rude cause my biscuit and gravy was messed up yesterday morn so she needs fired she is rude and kept hanging up on me on purpose that is not ok to do to customers that is rude and I had the receipt it was gross so I wanted to remake it but she was hatfull to me when I didn't do nothing to her

Looking for a local, friendly atmosphere with good home cooking, we found it at Penelope’s while stopping overnight in Rolla. Savory bacon and sausage, biscuits and gravy. Healthy portions unlike so many places which are reducing sizes.

Gyros isn't on many menus in Missouri. And finding tasty gyros is even more rare. So when I saw it on Penelope's in menu in Rolla I cautiously ordered their gyros sandwich with tzatziki sauce.What was served to me was a delicious shock. The gyros meet was seasoned really well with garlic and pepper. The juicy meat shared the supple pita bread with amazing tzatziki sauce and its bright flavor. I treasured every bite because it was a reminder of the great gyros I enjoyed as a student near Chicago's Greektown.I'm eager to go back.

Oh my gosh, so much better than just another chain restaurant. Although the interior is a little outdated, the service is amazing. Parking is good and the food was delicious. It got out hot and quick. And everybody was so friendly even the waitress I listened to helping another customer and explaining stuff was so patient. if you’d like a very simple breakfast place with that hometown fill this is it. Sorry one of the unusual times that I didn’t take a picture until after I pretty much ate everything. So good.

Oh my goodness. I’m not much of a breakfast person minus occasionally. But Penelope’s has hands down the best breakfast in the Rolla area. The service is speedy! Judging by how many people are here I thought that my food would’ve taken much longer. The customer service is EGGcelent! And what I find to be important is the early bird atmosphere that you can only get at breakfast joints. Lisa was so great! Would definitely recommend.
