Great food. Beautiful setting with ducks swimming on a fair sized pond out the window.

Meh. Not bad, not good. Service was abysmal and I'm pretty sure all the food, except a baked potatoe, was reheated from the day before. The setting was nice. I won't be back tho.

I would give ZERO stars if I could. Decided to go for dinner while passing through from Oklahoma. Stood forever waiting to be seated as 2 waitresses walked around like chickens with their heads chopped off. Never even acknowledged us being there. There was a man standing in the giant line to pay that told us to go ahead and sit down at an empty table. Said he knew the owner and had been serving himself beer all night. Brought my husband a beer but said he couldn’t get me a water. We sat there as the only 2 waitresses worked at the line needing to pay. After that they acknowledged the next group that came in but never brought us menus, looked at us, or said a word. For our first time ever going there, will be the last. Bad service is the worst. My husband left cash for his beer and we left. Not only did they need help, they need some lessons of some customer service.

Food was pretty good, we liked the brisket quest dip as an appetizer. Liked the animals put back and surroundings. The gun obsessed decor is bizarre to say the least.

Roadkill BBQ we had to try it. Haha! 🤣 They took our large group reservation and we had great food, great service and a funny atmosphere. Despite our large group drinks were kept full, food was hot and delicious and those women did a great job serving! Shirts, aprons and BBQ sauces available to remember the experience. Make sure you look around at all the decorations…they are pretty funny! Bonus for animal fans…They have a beautiful pond out back where the cattle were cooling off and two little donkeys as well as a large herd of ducks. 🦆 So fun!

Excellent and flavorful food. When you drive up, you kind of wonder, but once inside, you KNOW it's going to be. Awesomely decorated with stories about all the wildlife on the walls either from family, friends or local hunting enthusiasts.
We tried the smoked turkey, sausage, brisket and ribs, which were all fantastic! Prices and portions were very good. The baked beans were very flavorful.
We also had the appetizer sampler for the table which consisted of onion rings, corn nuggets, cheese curds and fried pickles served with regular ranch and spicey ranch.
It was a great meeting / luncheon for family gathering from Farmington, Windsor & Sedalia. We hope to gather here monthly. Awesome find. Talk to Sam, the surviving son of Randy, he's a jewel and gladly shared the history of how the business was started. You won't be disappointed!

This was a scheduled lunch stop for our group of 9 travelers. We arrived right after opening on Father's Day and luckily we ate early because there was a line out the door when we left! Kate and Savannah were our waitresses and although they were constantly running around as the restaurant got busy, we never felt neglected. We opted to sit inside with our large group but there are also several tables outside with a beautiful view of the pond and pasture. Everyone loved their food and the bbq sauces were so delicious. In addition to the beauty of the pasture, the owner also paid attention to the landscaping at the entrance and had a photo opportunity near the entrance as well. Highly recommend!

We were in the area and it was our first time to go. We ordered pulled pork, brisket, and turkey on a 3 meat plate with cole slaw and homemade chips. The pork was average; not too dry, not full of flavor. The brisket was moist and flavorful but needed a little more time to get tender. The turkey was moist and flavorful, slightly smoker flavored than most places we have eaten turkey. The chips were good and crunchy. The slaw was very good. They had 4 sauces which were good. We took home a bottle of spicy.

Gorgeous place. Nicely decorated. Food was amazing. So many great options it was hard to decide what to get. I do wish they would have a kids menu.
