Our first time to come. The international wines were great. It's not just for wine lovers. They have cocktails, beers and whiskey. A large selection of all. The flatbreads are delicious. It's a beautiful setting.

Went here with a group of friends and was greeted by a very friendly employee. She gave us a run down of their tastings and different wine selections plus the hard liquor bar. We decided to each purchase a tasting. This was our only negative experience. The man poured extremely small amounts into the glass. There was not enough for 2 sips. When I mentioned it to him, he said that's what it is. (The others with a different worker had the normal size pour in theirs. ) I mentioned that to him, and he just stared ahead like I was speaking a foreign language. He just didn't care. We finished our tasting and ordered 2 bottles to drink outside with the rest of our group. The wine was great, and those that ordered pizza said it was tasty. We'll be back but will probably skip the tasting.

Great place! They seem to have every bourbon/rye/whiskey that a person could ask for! You can do a wine tasting or a whiskey flight. Flatbread pizza was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. We loved Gemma! The outdoor space is very nice.

Came here for a company get together with my wife for Spirit Halloween. Honestly a lovely venue with a gorgeous view over the fields. Wonderful service and employee's, would definitely recommend to come here for a taste of their wonderful selection. 10/10 definitely coming back

Riverwood Winery has some good features and a decent atmosphere. The positives are they have a decent amount of wines to try and the wine tasting was inexpensive. They have a whiskey wall but my whiskey tasting was quite expensive, for lower quality whiskeys. It was nice to try something new but I wouldn't go back for a whiskey tasting. The place has food options as well, with a decent variety in prices, ranging from $7 to $25 for food. The drive from Kansas City is approximately 45 minutes, so with that in mind, I feel there are better options for wineries that are closer and less expensive.
This place is so wonderful I almost didn't leave a review. I selfishly don't want anyone to know it's here. The venue is seriously stunning. The set up is super smart and convenient. You can start a tab that can be carried through all the different areas. They have a local wine bar, an out of town wine bar, and a spirits bar. The tenders are super knowledgeable. The food was outstanding. We got a charcuterie board and it was seriously one of the most delicious ones I've ever had. There was also live music that wasn't too loud (which is a miracle). Tons of open parking. We will absolutely be going back.
