First time here and was pleasantly surprised on how well lit and nice and clean the restaurant was. They have a full bar, patio area and kid friendly Chips were warm but salsa was a bit bland for me. Pollo Guanajuato was delicious, tender well flavored chicken smothered with chorizo and cheese and served with rice and beans. Definitely worth a second visit .

Went here at lunch with a group from work. The food was pretty good. I had a large burrito 🌯. The menu was quite large....maybe too big. I got a little overwhelmed with all the pages. The service was great. Very attentive and fast. The inside of the restaurant is clean and the booths are tall (so no worries of a kid in the next booth hitting your back all meal). Prices were about average for similar Mexican restaurants in the area.

Our server didn't speak English and completely messed up our order. Also, the menudo was awful. I grew up on the border in Texas so I kinda know the dish.
Terrible! Manager is not worth amazing employees. Will never visit again, there are so many awesome similar places in Saint Charles!

It was between lunch and dinner so we ordered dinner. Excellent service , food was great. The only complaint ( Hope they fix) the beans were runny. My friends had enchilada plates and I had shrimp mushroom fajitas. All of it was good. I will return.

I was there for a group event. Food was barely warm and drinks had no taste. I paid by credit card and found they added another bill to my tab. Manager told me he would look into it but never got back to me. The manager said this has happened before. Apparently they stick the bill on some unsuspecting person to pay. Check your credit card carefully after eating there!?

We've eaten at El Agave many times & have always liked it, but that's been kicked up a notch since they moved to their new location (next door to their old strip mall location). The new location has more space & apparently a better kitchen because their food tastes even better now.

We ordered pick up and when we got there we had to give our complete order that everyone we were picking up for ordered. I asked if I could give my name since I ordered online. The kept wanting me to name all the items we ordered which was hard to fo since 3 people we were buying for were not there . Whe. I originally walked in they acted confused and next thing you know I had 10 servers and a manager all talking in Spanish and not filling me in on what was going on so I kept asking what was wrong they wanted to know theories I already cmgace what I knew was ordered to 4 people there but it was just passed on to the next person that happened to come by. So they split the order in two fornsome reaso. Thatw as why they were confused. Inwas ordering for our of town guests and it was such a shit show just to get it picked up. I thought ordering on libe was the easoliest quickest option but I was very wrong. Althea food had too much spice than it should have had. It was very hard to eat without having to put the fire in our mouths out between each bite. I am not a fan ormf the spicy spicy foods and I know I did not order anything that would have containedbthst mouth spice ever. At least there should have been a warning on every item order is going tone flaming hot
