I could write an absolute love letter about the food here… holy moly. That may have quite possibly been the freshest most delicious Indian food in the Southern IL /STL area that I’ve ever had. The samosas? Crisp outside, delicious smooth and warm inside. Just so fresh and tasty. We had the garlic cheese naan TO DIE FOR. Amazing ! And then the goat saag and fish tikka masala. Both equally perfect. We did mild as it was our first time, but maybe could have tried medium maybe next time (we very white). Portions were excellent, like the food is already great quality but we both ate until we literally couldn’t anymore and had plenty to take home. Server/host checked in on us and was sweet! Pricing more than fair especially because they could definitely use all the financial support it seems. The lack of ambient music/radio was uncomfortable. No AC/poor ventilation in the dining room. The building is in need of care. The bathroom was so scary, would not recommend dining in/using the bathroom. But like takeout??? Oh my god 100000% we will be ordering to-go from now on because that food was just fabulous.
A good spot! I've ordered takeout twice. The butter chicken and tikka masala were tasty. I told myself to try something new and the chana dal was stewy, rich, and for a vegetarian dish, very filling. Entrees come with a box of basmati rice. Their garlic naan, plain roti, and buttered roti are all warm, fresh, slightly chewy—perfect!
This is one of the best Indian restaurants I've ever been to in STL. Their prices are fair and their portion size are amazing! I tried the vegetable biryani and it was so flavorable, delicious and had a great spice to it.
Really wonderful! The samosas are delicious and I got one of the best mango lassis I've EVER had. Also got the aloo palak and it was wonderful. I really reccomend this place.
Tried to order some food for the first time but the call kept getting disconnected. For whatever reason these folks are not serious about running a good business. I cannot comment on the food since I did not get to order anything. I can only imagine how the food is given the customer service I received. Oh well.
We came here to attend a conference and had lunch. We ordered lamb curry and chicken tikka masala with rice and naan. It tasted good. I hope they maintain strict halal standards.
The food is amazing and the staff is friendly and gives great recommendations!
The Gobi Manchurian, chicken fried rice, butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, vegetable samosas, paneer pakora, aloo gobi, vegetable curry, chicken pickle, and mango lassi have all been incredible. I look forward to trying more of the menu.

Easily the best indian food in STL. Best spice to food ratio, best quantity per order, best meat to curry ratio.
It was perfect, only lacking for dining in, it is a “hole in the wall” type restaurant. Do not expect a fancy white table cloth experience, just DAMN GOOD FOOD.

Upon arrival I was greeted by a friendly hostess. Seating was limited and the atmosphere was takeaway focused. You could tell the restaurant was family ran, as there was a home altar with memorial photos at the entry way and the smell of incense was present, and the food storage area was visible where you could see bottles of water and bags of jasmine rice that were on the ground, so instead of dining in, I respected the space and asked for a menu for takeaway. I ordered a dal tadka, while I normally prefer dal makhani, the garam masala forward flavor won me over, I also ordered chicken 65, chicken vindaloo, lamb tika masala, and a variety of naan. The 65 was fried nicely and the seasoning and flavor was about average. The vindaloo was underwhelming in spice and seasoning, very thin, and tasted more like tomato soup. The tika was average, a bit creamy and light, with a coriander and turmeric forward flavor. The naan was very lightly toasted. They also provided jasmine rice for each entree, which was lightly seasoned. I had requested dishes as spicy as possible, and I was unable to detect any heat, just the flavor of heat, however to note I am a chili-head and understand this is relative for some folks, if you're looking for something spicy like I usually am, you won't be blown away with the spice game presented. Overall the experience was average for an Indian inspired cuisine takeaway experience. The Dal was the best of their offerings tasted, however I did have to ask if they had it, as it wasn't on the menu, which was surprising to see for such a staple dish.
