King Edwards Fried Chicken

The chicken is pretty good, atmosphere is okay. I wouldn't bring a date here but good for a quick meal

Food was bland and quite frankly just disgusting the chicken tenders I got were tough and greasy tasted like it was cooked in the same oil all the seafood was cooked in, COOKED TO ORDER HAS TO BE A JOKE sides seemed cold the fries were soggy the green beans tasted like they were poured straight from a great value can into a side container and the mashed potatoes were starchy with super salty “gravy”!!!
The staff seemed highly disorganized and just kinda moped around the kitchen throwing meals together with little regard to efficiency or getting food to the customers in a timely fashion
Last but not least the atmosphere was dingy, cleanliness is definitely not a priority at this establishment and the smell of burnt grease and food is what your greeted with upon entering the “restaurant “.

I really cannot believe this place has so many good reviews they must be fake I wish I could leave negative 10 stars please do not waste your money here go to KFC OR POPEYES OR LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE I’d starve before returning to this establishment.

I placed a to go order at King Edward's Chicken. It was served hot and fresh. My fries were hot also. I can honestly say I'll be back for more when in the area. I like the unique batter the chicken has as well.

It's a hole in the wall, 5 tables, been here forever making awesome fried chicken.
Recently they painted and made a new counter. Really nice staff, but did I mention the chicken? Private recipe, but it's thin coated yet crunchy, moist inside.. can't ask for anything better!

I have been a custome since 1985, food has always been great I normally get the Lunch special or the Gizzards, problem is lately the breast have been cut in half again now the breasts are the size of the thighs, Pizza Ranch here I come
