La Carreta is easily one of the best Mexican spots I’ve been to in a while. The guacamole tasted so fresh, like it was made just for us—none of that bland, pre-made stuff. Every dish was full of flavor, and you can really tell they take pride in their food. The service was great too—friendly and quick without feeling rushed. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the kind of place you actually want to sit and enjoy for a while.

I had a female server during lunch at 1pm. Ordered shrimp fajitas on the back of menu. She charged me for dinner shrimp fajitas. When paying she stated I had to ask for lunch portion shrimp fajitas. What a bunch of BS. That is just bad business to charge for dinner portions without asking your guests especially during lunch hours. Come on do better.

Wonderful staff with some of the best Mexican I’ve had around St Charles. Deep flavor, wonderful selection with each dish unique.

Parking: Limited parking when at peak hours due to other businesses also sharing parking
