Spent my October Fest at La Tia and Pancho's Cantina. So I have wanted to try the Beef Tongue. Today I ordered Chile Verde con Lingua and it was delicious. Very tender and well seasoned. Added a mini pitcher of house margarita and some guacamole to top it off. Heavenly. I love coming to this restaurant. The staff is pleasant and takes good care of the customers.

We liked the atmosphere, food was good, especially loved the salsa and chips. Had the mixed fajitas for 2. Didn't come with very ma y tortillas and had to pay for extras. Good service. I like that the booths have plexiglass above the seats for added privacy. Noise levels are comfortable.

I attended the Crawl for the Cure Pub Crawl yesterday for the 1st time & I had such a wonderful experience! Until me & my friends decided to eat at this restaurant. We wanted to come into this establishment to end the night off with good food & to sober up. One of the people in our group was turned away as soon as he walked in because the owner said he was intoxicated. It didn’t sit right with us. When the rest of us sat down & were asked what we wanted to drink, the owner came over to our table & told our waitress not to serve us any alcohol because we had been at the Pub Crawl all day… we didn’t even have the chance to say what we wanted & almost all of us got water except for 2 people at our booth. I told her we were fine & she walked away. Felt very targeted by the owner ever since we walked through the doors, which is not something you want to feel walking into an establishment & wanting to have a relaxing time with your friends & family. The food wasn’t that wonderful either. One of us ordered a chicken taco & received 2 tacos with only shredded chicken & lettuce… nothing else.

I wanted to have a conversation with the owner about the events that had happened regarding our friend being turned away & her comment to our waiter before we ordered anything. She claimed “she didn’t know what he was going to do”. That was not the response I expected coming from an owner. You don’t know what anyone is going to do when they walk into the restaurant & you didn’t give him a chance to sit down at a booth, which is in fact what he was trying to do to EAT. Not to mention the owner blamed me for a margarita being spilled at our booth which in fact was not mine or my fault. However, she was “willing to bet” it was my fault & that it was mine. The attitude I received from the owner was completely unacceptable & she was very defensive. I was very nice & was very respectful & it was not reciprocated in the slightest. To top off the entire experience, she got very upset with me & told me that I wasn’t listening & that she wanted me to leave… I proceeded to to tell her I wasn’t trying to make her upset or rub her the wrong way, I wanted to better understand the reasonings behind her words & actions towards our group. After that was upset she yelled at me to leave & so I left. I was annoyed & frustrated from the beginning to the end of our dinner & even more so after the owner of the establishment was terribly rude to me. She was very distasteful, dismissive & accusatory the entire night. I DO NOT recommend coming to this restaurant for any reason whatsoever. I DO recommend going to Tony’s on Main Street.

Service was horrible. Food was horrible. Owners attitude when the order was wrong was so disrespectful. Don’t go here especially if you are not white. You won’t get any respect. Unfortunately

We stopped in here for lunch. We were greeted with a hug, perfect margaritas and a great lunch at a reasonable price. We will be back. Thanks Pancho

So disappointed. I have never been to any restaurant that serves food (shrimp and steak fajitas, cheese quesadilla, steak fajitas nachos) with no flavor until today. How can that even be!? Even the cheese quesadilla had no color to show any grilling or toasting. I can't believe that this was even served. I can see if one thing had no flavor but for everyone to say the same shows something not right. Hope this was a fluke. Not sure if id go back.
