Penn Station East Coast Subs

Ordered through DoorDash and although the receipt had my name and correct order they made the wrong sub. I called them and told me there is nothing they can do about it since it was through DoorDash.

I tried to call in an order at 7:40 pm. I was told that they don't accept phone in orders after 7:30. So, I drove there. When I got inside @ 7:50 I was told that they were almost closing but they did take my order. A guy kid with long, greasy stringy hair (disgusting) took my order and was so angry that he wouldn't look at me or speak to me. Then he proceeded to help make the sandwiches but still angry, he was throwing spatulas and utensils around and slamming the left over bread in the trash can. As my order is being finalized I see them putting lettuce on one of my sandwiches. I order it as a club, meat and cheese only. It seems that the ticked off kid put my order in as no bacon. Bacon is a meat. Two of the employees were clearly ticked off and unprofessional. The 3rd guy there that was bagging up my order was uncomfortable with the situation. I felt bad for him. I don't know what kind of problems are going on there but I won't be treated that way.

Do not goto this location they close at 8pm when every other one closes at 10pm im tired of this chain as a whole more costly but putting less food on their subs then the past stay away from penn station

I’m doordashing and normally don’t have a problem with workers or anything. We’re both working so everyone’s usually super nice to eachother. Today I go to this location. Everyone was nice but the girl that handed me the order and told me to confirm the order was extremely rude.

She told me to confirm the order WITHOUT me seeing the food. And I was like I can’t confirm until I see the food. And she kept arguing with me. I didn’t want the food in my hands I wanted to see the food to make sure I wasn’t going to confirm I received it when I actually have to wait longer. IT HAS HAPPENED BEFORE. and then she got snippy and was like “I have it in my hands” I didn’t see her hands so for her to be snippy is insane. I was like I didn’t see that my bad. I was upset at this point because why the attitude. And then she said “don’t get an attitude with me or I won’t even hand you the food” RIDICULOUS. I’ve never had an issue in my life with rude people.idk if she was just having a bad day. Or she hates door dasher. But that was NOT necessary at all.

CALL to check hours before you go. Unfortunately, I've been burned three times, getting there when online says they are open, but they closed early due to staffing issues. Tonight they closed 2 hours early. ?

I was reminded tonight why I stopped dining at this location. Though it was close to closing, is great customer service too much to ask?The cook was rude, mumbled under his mask as he totally wrecked my order and lost a portion of the extra chicken I paid for on the floor.Being short staffed unfortunately affects a lot. Teach these kids what good service is, or take them off payroll. Tonight was ridiculous and I won’t be going back.

Came here for the first time Ive been told they had great food. The food its self was ok nothing to write home about. But the price for it was astronomical. $10 for a sub didnt include a drink or fries all thats extra. $30 for what I could have gotten at subway for $15 and it would have been just as good. Hell $30 would have gotten me 2 meals at a sit down restaurant.I guess this is the five guys of subs.

First time I ordered the whole grain bread. The bread was very under baked. But, the staff was cheerful.
