Penn Station East Coast Subs

First and last time trying this place. Ordered the large Italian, medium fries and a cookie for $25. Sub was so skinny with hardly any toppings, fries were not full and even the chocolate chip cookie was disappointing. Only thing I finished was the fries, which was easy since the cup wasn't even full. The store itself had messy tables. This was about 2:30 in the afternoon and I was the only customer. I love a good sandwich and really wanted to like this place, but it's a no for me, dog.

Bring back the tuna fish sandwich! It’s been missing for a couple years now and it is missed. It was a great tuna fish sandwich.

Went there at 8:20 and they were closed but says open until 10. There were 5 employees and they said they were closed because of staffing issues. How many people does it take to make a sandwich???

Great Hot Sandwiches

The food is good has always been good. No complaints on the food, but unfortunately it seems like if you don’t write an official review then the concerns that you express doesn’t get hard. I usually enjoy watching my food be prepared and today I realize an additional reason of watching your food being prepared. The sweet young lady did not wear gloves. The other staff member had to tell her to put on gloves and she reluctantly put on just one glove allowing her to make the mistake as I watched her put lettuce on a sandwich with her bare hand. If she’s not going to listen to her coworker why would she listen to a concerned customer. WEAR GLOVES! It minimizes cross contamination. Not to is just unsanitary!

Usually very good food but they put mushrooms on my food when asked them not to

Ordered through DoorDash and although the receipt had my name and correct order they made the wrong sub. I called them and told me there is nothing they can do about it since it was through DoorDash.

Horrible

I tried to call in an order at 7:40 pm. I was told that they don't accept phone in orders after 7:30. So, I drove there. When I got inside @ 7:50 I was told that they were almost closing but they did take my order. A guy kid with long, greasy stringy hair (disgusting) took my order and was so angry that he wouldn't look at me or speak to me. Then he proceeded to help make the sandwiches but still angry, he was throwing spatulas and utensils around and slamming the left over bread in the trash can. As my order is being finalized I see them putting lettuce on one of my sandwiches. I order it as a club, meat and cheese only. It seems that the ticked off kid put my order in as no bacon. Bacon is a meat. Two of the employees were clearly ticked off and unprofessional. The 3rd guy there that was bagging up my order was uncomfortable with the situation. I felt bad for him. I don't know what kind of problems are going on there but I won't be treated that way.

Do not goto this location they close at 8pm when every other one closes at 10pm im tired of this chain as a whole more costly but putting less food on their subs then the past stay away from penn station
