Last night my date and I visited Pio’s for dinner and to say we were disappointed would be putting it lightly. My date wanted to order the prime rib but the waitress told us that wasn’t available last night so she ordered the ribeye and I ordered the filet mignon. Both steaks were cooked as ordered but totally lacked flavor, they were extremely bland. I have had better steaks at Texas Roadhouse and for half the price. I think if you’re going to pay $30+ for a steak dinner the steak should have at least some flavor. I’m sorry to have to say this but can’t not and will not recommend Pio’s to my friends and family.

Pretty expensive for such awful food. Mostaccioli was a joke, the chef specialty seafood pasta was just OK. Shrimp was way overcooked while clams were undercooked. We were there for nearly two hours and left laughing about how I spent $50 on such a terrible meal.
Hosted a post funeral luncheon here with a catered lunch. The pasta was barely Luke warm and we were rushed out of the location with the servers just waiting over us.

Food was pretty good. It’s the St Louis style cheese on the pizza which I’m not a huge fan of, more of a mozzarella guy so this is not a knock on the restaurant, more about my preference. Portions were large, everyone at the table seemed happy with their meal, prices reasonable. Staff was very friendly and professional!

My favorite restaurant, great food best pizza in St Charles great service, nice bar, staff is wonderful good prices.Parking: Not many handicapped parking spots, but you can park close to entrance.
Waited 35 minutes past our reservation time. No Prime Rib available. Small portions. $27 steak was tiny and a terrible cut, all gristle and fat. Veal was good, but small portion. No bread offered. Carrot cake was good. Way better italian in STL.

We love having Pio’s so close to our house! It really is such a gem in Old Town St. Charles. I am raised by an Italian mother and this restaurant gives the family style, old school Italian restaurant feel. You always feel welcome at Pio’s! My favorite items to order are either the Chicken Parmesan, Lasagna, or Cannelloni.

Pio's is an institution in St.Charles. Been around a while and you can count on standard Italian food offerings. I was in a group party being served off the menu in Pio's basement which was ready for us. Only one waitress to hop around for about 20 . She was not very knowledgeable about the menu, but she was on overload. Cocktails and wine list very standard. Surprise vegetarian choices on the menu, but lacking in gf except for pizza crust. My meal was ok but pricey for portabella mushroom, And a baked sweet potato ( no topping but butter). If you're looking for some old tyme Italian, this is your place.
