Shogun Japanese Steakhouse

The food is good, but they don't do noodles which is sad because that's part of what I look forward to at a Japanese steakhouse. However the bigger issue is that while all of these restaurants do a little banging these guys are EXCESSIVE. They are not considerate of people with auditory issues like auditory triggered seizures, ADHD, PTSD, or autism. If you have anyone in your party with these issues do NOT go here.

Been coming here for years, the BEST hibachi in st charles county. Not only is it cheaper than the others but its taste 10x better too. Try the mustard sauce its homemade and so damn good. The manager/owner Ed is super friendly and always take care of his people and customer. You will not regret coming here

This restaurant was super cute and I loved how intimate it was. The service was great!!! The prices were amazing!!! We even left with enough food to have later on and the next day.

I've been coming to this location for years with my family and they've always treated me with kindness and respect. The food is always delicious and my family jokes saying other restaurants are never as good.

We love this place! The staff is always on it, always making sure everyone is okay. The chefs are very talented and funny and always entertaining the kids and making us laugh. The food is amazing, best hibachi in the area. The yum yum sauce is the best too, nothing else compares!

Place is dirty we went there and they just opened up food was all over griddle top. The ceilings were black as hell definitely do not recommend. The health department definitely hasn't been there in a long time

This place is great. Take the entire family 14 a few times a year. It is small but not cramped. Food is delicious every time and prices are good. Head and shoulders above kobe.

Great place. Recommend a reservation. I called,and the restaurant was booked.The gentleman got us a table fir two anyway. I Recommend Shogun if your looking for a hibachi dinner.

Celebrated a birthday of a relative here October 26, 2024. Reservations were for 7p for a party of 14. We were seated at 7:20p. Upon entering the restaurant I noticed how intimate and small it is. Seating is limited if you are waiting. At 7:20p we walked to the back to our seats. We were seated at the back two tables. It is a bit tight in there, meaning it’s small. We received a small serving of soup with one slice of mushroom and a ginger salad. It was very delicious. I chose the filet and shrimp and it was amazing! The service and the presentation from the chef was on point Overall, the food was terrific and flavorful. The place is intimate and you will feel the flame the chef uses during his presentation. I would go back because the prices are cheaper than Kobe’s.

Place is an absolute joke of an establishment! Made a reservation to be told I didn’t by a hostess with a bad attitude and said she could put me on a wait list a hour long. Don’t Waste your Time or Money!!!!
