It's been minute since I've been to a Steak N Shake. But since I opened Milani Nail Bar on 1st Capital drive, I have been driving past them twice a day. Today I stopped in and very impressed. I had a great Steak Burger and fries. Very delicious! Very clean and friendly. I highly recommend and I will be returning more often.

$45 for missing food, after driving back they attempted to give me the missing food that had been ordered 24 minutes before. Once I explained that I needed the food to be remade, they made it over and offered nothing than a simple “sorry” I drove back to my home and ate cold burgers and fries. Not impressed, I won’t be leaving the drive thru window without checking the bag and confirming what I paid for is indeed inside the bag. Don’t be surprised when you come back attempting to collect payment from the next consumer and find me looking through my bag…

I wish I could give 100 stars for service and atmosphere. Today, my wife and I were outside the restaurant in a light rain getting my elderly mother out of the car into her wheelchair...not the easiest of tasks. How uplifting it was to see two gentlemen from the Steak n Shake team waiting to help us into the restaurant and then offering help on how to get an order in on the screen system. I was then approached by a man working the grill to say hello. One of the cooks came out to bring us our food and was so warm and genuine. Then, THEN, one of the other cooks came out to check on how the food was. We felt so cared for and special. As we drove my mom back to her assisted living center, we saw a rainbow in the sky. Even if nature didn't give us that rainbow, we already had something as beautiful from the wonderful people at this Steak and Shake location on 9/20 around 4pm.

We had such a nostalgic experience at this Steak & Shake. The staff was beyond kind and friendly the food was delicious and guilt free now that it is made with beef tallow and we easily paid in Bitcoin. When in St. Louis, I highly recommend this location! If you need a milkshake fix, they have lots of choices, use real ice cream still (I think), faster service, and lower prices than a lot of other milkshake places.

Orange Dreamcicle milkshake. 5 stars! Omg. They put a Dreamcicle ice cream bar in the milkshake! Okay it's hard to explain so you'vs got to try one for yourself! It's fire!

Staff was AWESOME, friendly, professional, etc. 10/10 service. However, the food has gone downhill over the years (ingredients are trash, no fault in preparation), the menu selection has dwindled greatly, the self-serve kiosks in place of dine-in service and menus is TERRIBLE and hard to navigate, and the restaurant booths and bathrooms are filthy at this location. It's unfortunate that corporate won't do better, as their employees are a pretty great crew in my experiences.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to this Steak N Shake, but today I came in the my son. The place was cleaner than I have ever seen it, cooks were moving good and quick, food was great and one of the workers even came out and asked us how everything was. This Steak N Shake has definitely stepped up their game and we’ll be coming back!! Thanks for the great experience today!!
