i got a steakburger, oreo and mint shake, and fries to go, the drive thru was very fast and efficient, my steakburger was wonderful, and my shake was very good, i love that they use Styrofoam to keep the shake cold

Went there system was down at 1:00am very dissapointed so for some ridiculous reason you can only order from app was unable to pay so I left I don't need a doesn't more apps on my phone

Really really bad. We ordered a double cheese, a garlic double, a garlic single and a cheese fry. We got a double cheese, two single cheeses, and a regular fry. We spent $30 for this. I went back in to ask for my cheese fries only not realizing that the sandwiches were also incorrect and it took so long for them to even speak to me that the rest of my food was no longer fresh. Completely waste of money Im planning to do a chargeback.

The burger was hot, but the fries were not even warm. What gets me most is that you give your order, and they repeat it back correctly. It was still wrong after pulling away from the window. Ugh! Service these days shows no respect for the job.

I had given up on steak n shake years ago but decided to give the one on first capital in St chsrles mo a chance and the food was fresh and quick, the place was clean and the ordering system worked well but most of all the staff was excellent! Great job!
Some of the rudist service ive..ever....ever.....had. the gentlemen at the window refused to speak to me when I got my food. I mean absolutely refused and then threw my bag into my car..I was saying please and thank you and nothing then bam..food in my car. I threw it away. I eat here alot and everyone I have some new horrible experience. This was one of the best ones.
Update Dec 4th. Order the chicken tenders price on the menu was $5.49 receipt says $5.89. Was told you don’t get charged for one sauce for a chicken tenders I got charged for all of them a couple of chicken fingers meals a frying a shake was $35. I gave it a while a good long while before going back and now I can say, I never will again..

When there used to be more Steak 'n Shake locations, this location was known as the bad Steak N Shake that we don't go to, because we go to the good one instead. It was busy because of it's location right off the highway, but it was never good. I'm sad that, of all of the old local Steak 'n Shake locations, this is the location that survived the great Steak 'n Shake purge. Unfortunately, being the only Steak 'n Shake in town hasn't improved the place at all. The only Steak 'n Shake we have left is the bad one. The place smells moldy. The buns taste stale. The fry containers are only half full and the burgers are wet with what I can only hope is grease. And now they've gotten rid of the service staff. Dine in guests now order on a Kiosk. But guess what, the kiosk still asks for a tip! They replaced the tipped employee with a machine, but still have the audacity to ask for a tip. The kiosk prints a barcode that you have to scan to access the soda machine. The soda machine stops dispensing in the middle of getting your drink because your time expired. You can only scan the barcode like twice before it stops working altogether. Food items often missing from the order, or the food was made wrong. Still, for some reason I keep coming back every few months. I don't know why. I'm always disappointed. Maybe it's nostalgia for what Steak 'n Shake used to be that keeps me coming back. I wonder how much longer that will last.

By far the worst location I have ever been to. Food was cold in motified.... but not by myself. This location has you order using kiosks. My shake apparently told the workers no whipped cream and no cherry yet my receipt doesn't show that at all! My burger didn't have the onions on it... and it's the only reason I ordered that burger! Again didn't show on the receipt that apparently I "adjusted" the order to not include the things I clearly wanted... won't be back to this location.
