My wife is allergic to gluten and whenever we are in St. Charles we stop by Sucrose for her favorites. I enjoy all the gluten and she has gluten free. Never had anything that wasn’t outstanding.
If you’re looking for your next sugar fix, Sucrose Bakery is an absolute gem. It’s tucked away in a perfect spot—close enough to be convenient, but away from the chaotic parking nightmare of Main Street. Having dedicated parking makes the whole experience stress-free from the second you pull up.

Highly recommend Sucrose for coffee & pastries. The building is adorable & a great location. The coffee is perfectly made with blueprint beans & the pastries are on another level. This isn’t just some bakery but rather a professional pastry shop. You can tell they all know what they’re doing in terms of desserts & curate amazing flavors. Will definitely be back!
