I like Sugarfire but today was very disappointing. I bought a half pound of brisket to go. When I sat to eat it later, I discovered half of it was unedible fat. I had maybe 3 strips of edible meat. What a complete ripoff!! $14 to have to throw half of it away.

Will not be back. Pulled pork was 1/3 fat, inedible and gross. Hashbrown casserole was undercooked.... potatoes were leathery and it had no taste. The Brisket soup was so salty, 3 of us tried it. Grossed out. This used to be a favorite place. 3rd strike. The magic is gone. Too expensive for poor quality food that no one is tasting. :^\

Noisy place, but good food. Servings too big & too much meat, but maybe that's what Americans want. Better descriptions of plates would be helpful to newcomers.

I gotta say, I was disappointed in the food. I've had Sugarfire at catered events many times and always loved it. I was excited to bring my family in today.

I got a meat combo plate (2 sides, 2 meats) for $20. My brisket was more than half fat and extremely greasy - even for brisket. The turkey and the beans were good. The coleslaw was flavorless and tasted like just plain mayo and slaw. I couldn't eat more than a few bites. For $20, it was a letdown.

The kids' meal was a great size, but the fries were soggy and barely warm.

The staff working there is very sweet and the atmosphere is great. I love that they serve STL soda products!

Not up to standards. Went there with the family this afternoon. The brisket plate had no flavor and the sides were sad. Not sure what happened here today.

What a joke. We ordered ahead so we could get our food and go. No way, wasn't going to happen. We showed up 15 min after we placed our order, then saw over a dozen people walk in and get served. Apparently fries were the hold but the walk in customers were served fries. Asked to speak to the manager and I couldn't get that either.

I used to love this place. Treat your customers with decency!

On Saturday, My husband and I got the big muddy and I could not finish but oh was it so so good!! Worth every penny! Look at the pic I uploaded. It's delicious looking and tasting. The sausage was amazing with the brisket! I had the potato salad for a side. I had to remove the bun on order to get through the meat on my sandwich. The sodas are different than what you see at other places and we tried a few flavors, all very good. My husband ate his sandwich no problem and he had house fries as a side. We both really enjoyed it. The customer service was exceptional and it was very quick and we had our food fast and fresh. Next time, we want to try the ribs! Thank you for a great experience!
