Tequila Mexican Restaurant

This was my first time here. I really enjoyed my taco salad made with chicken and I have never had that choice before anywhere else.

Just to add on to the water with lemon debacle. We ordered a water with lemon. We were joking at the table that the water tasted weird, kinda like sweet tea. No big deal. Then We went to pay and a lemonade was added to our bill. We asked why was a $4 lemonade added to our bill when we ordered a water with lemon. We were told that lemons were squeezed into our waters. Explained the funny taste. Then we asked to have that removed from our bill and the waiter said he can’t remove that. It was labeled lemonade on the bill and we just ordered water. Hence we were charged $4 for waters.

This place used to be good, but I probably won't go back for a while if at all. The margaritas are great here. The service is good most of the time. The food the last few times has gotten worse each time to the point after tonight I'm not interested in going back. The food used to be well seasoned and cooked to perfection but lately it appears they are using lower quality ingredients and not seasoning anything properly. Tonight the chips were terrible you could tell they were fried in old grease and smelled terrible. I got the asada fries with chicken. The fries were crinkle cut which they never used to be. As I said the fryer grease was old so fries weren't good either. The chicken had no seasoning and barely any cheese. My wife got fajitas and the meat was not seasoned. The vegetables weren't sautéed properly and were still raw. For between 15-25 and plate it's not worth going out to be disappointed. I miss the old crew that used to do a much better job.

Great Place if You’re Just Passing Through

Not much to say here. Was on our route, we were sat very quickly, the service and atmosphere were great, and the food was great. Some family members said the chicken could have used a little more flavor and the place was a little dirty, but I didn’t mind. Can’t expect much more!

When we arrived 5 staff were standing around the tables in the front and they all just stared at us. Finally a guy got up and sat us at our table. We ordered our food and literally 5 min later it was on our table now I love fast service but there was really no flavor at all. They did have some good salsa

We absolutely love the food and staff at Tequila! The food is always the best and drinks are always great. We have found that it is better to eat here from the dinner hour to before 9PM for the best overall experience. We LOVE this place!

Hidden away a little off Muegge Rd. Great food and service. May not look like much from the outside but dont let that keep you away. Large and nice interior

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant.

The food and margaritas were on point! We had a large group and they handled it very well. Our server was excellent and checked on us frequently. We will definitely be back.
